(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners in Adelaide, South Australia held a series of activities on July 15, 2006 at Victoria Square in downtown to expose to the Australian society the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They called on people from all walks of life to help and support the "International Joint Investigation Team" to enter mainland China to investigate the forced labor camps, and thoroughly put an end to the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners that has continued for seven years.
Falun Gong practitioners held a series of activities. They unfurled banners reading in English, "Seven-Year Persecution and Mass Killing Must be Stopped Immediately," "Kind People, Please Help Stop the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners," and banners carrying other messages. They also displayed photos depicting the persecution, distributed truth clarifying fliers, clarified the facts about Falun Gong, and explained the content and conclusion of the Canadian independent investigative report. They also collected signatures and introduced Falun Gong exercises.
Many people found it hard to understand the atrocities of live organ harvesting. They read carefully the fliers and further inquired about the situation from practitioners. Besides feeling shocked, people signed the petition calling for a combined effort to stop the persecution. Some people showed interest in peaceful Falun Gong exercises, and requested information about the practice sites. Several middle school students of Chinese nationality immediately learned to practice the exercises on the spot. Some overseas Chinese students walked back and forth in front of the display boards but did not take materials. Practitioners took the initiatives to talk to them, telling them the truth bit by bit, and helping them resolve their doubts and questions. Finally they took the materials and expressed that they would read them carefully.
