A Democratic Party MP said that it is significant to hold this exhibition. Up to now, there had never had such an exhibition held in government facilities in Japan. In fact, he said, the Communist regime was established on human rights violations. Secret police, custody centers and killing are commonplace in Communist countries. He said that when he first took a flyer in English from Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong, he felt that the persecution was a very serious problem. After returning to Japan, he visited websites, and learned more facts about the CCPs massive persecution of Falun Gong. He thought that the persecution is absolutely intolerable. This MP later joined the activities in rescuing Yoko Kaneko, a Japanese Dafa practitioner imprisoned in China. He expressed that through this exhibition, he hoped that more people, and the more than 20,000 staff members working in the Tokyo Government, would learn of the CCPs persecution of human rights. He hoped that Chinese people can truly be set free from the control of the evil CCP, and end the persecution as soon as possible.
Another Democratic Party MP from the Tokyo Parliament said in his speech that in todays 21st century, that such brutal human rights persecution in China is still happening is absolutely intolerable. He wants to work together with everybody to end such a tragic situation.
A Liberal Democratic Party MP said in his speech, that in 1964, when Mao Zedong replied to the Japanese apologies for invading China, he said, "No need to apologize, without your imperial armys invasion, the Chinese Communist Party would not have been able to seize power. We should thank you." The MP continued, "Therefore, through learning the historical facts, we can truly recognize the CCP for what it is. Todays exhibition provides us with an opportunity to learn the facts."
Yoko Kaneko was sentenced to forced labor for one year and a half for distributing Falun Gong truth clarification materials in Beijing. She returned to Japan with support from 160, 000 Japanese people from all walks of life who signed the petition to rescue her, including help from the Members of Parliament who attended the art exhibition. Her husband and she especially came to the exhibition to express their thanks to the Members of Parliament for their righteous support, and said that they would continue exposing the CCPs atrocities.
An Donggan, a researcher on Japanese human rights issues, saluted all those who have been fearless of the CCP tyranny, and determined to establish a China without human rights violations. An Donggan, who authored the book, Chinas Human Rights Suppression, expressed that he would make more efforts in the future to expose the CCPs evil to the Japanese people and to people around the world, so that Communism will vanish from the Earth.
A representative of the Japanese Falun Dafa Association expressed thanks for the MPs efforts in making the exhibition possible. He said that seven years ago today, the CCP initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. In March of this year, people with inside information exposed the fact that organs from living Falun Gong practitioners were being harvested for profit. Recently, a Canadian independent investigation team released to the public an investigative report that concludes that this allegation is true. We call on people from all walks of life in Japan to participate in or support further independent investigations, and thoroughly uncover the inside story of the CCP's crimes.
Former member of the House, and City Council members sent letters to the exhibition to support exposing the CCPs persecution of human rights.
The exhibition, sponsored by the Worlds Human Rights Thinking MP Association, focused on three areas, including the persecution of Falun Gong, the persecution of the underground church, and photos of Chinese human rights advocacy leaders who have suffered persecution. A photo display under the theme of Hell in the Human World, depicted the current situation at forced labor camps. The third section is Falun Gong practitioners Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance art exhibition. The exhibition will continue until July 25, (except Saturday and Sunday)
The Parliament Building in Tokyo is located in the busiest area, and is open to the public every day. People from around the world and Japan come in a steady stream to visit. The coordinator of the exhibition welcomes all people to come visit.
