(Clearwisdom.net) From July 20 and July 23, 2006, the annual Colors of Ostrava music festival took place. The event is attended by thousands of people every year and practitioners have used the opportunity to inform festival visitors about the cruel crimes against humanity carried out by the Chinese Communist Party. People are given detailed information about the persecution of Falun Gong, which has lasted for seven years, and also about the cases of organ harvesting from unwilling practitioners who are held in Chinese prisons (organs being later sold for transplants.)
Information banners, demonstrations of the exercises and calm meditation music drew the attention of the festival's visitors but also of other people who were passing by. People were shocked when they saw exhibited photographs of victims of torture. They could hardly understand that such things take place nowadays. Without hesitation they joined and signed the petition which denounces the organ harvesting and requests the immediate investigation of the Falun Gong persecution and Chinese concentration camps.
Many words of support for Falun Gong were uttered by the people:
"It is a good thing you people are doing. Good luck!", "I believe the persecution will soon be over, these terrible things must come to an end.", "Human life is most precious, everyone should be aware of it and no one should treat people the way Chinese Communist Party treats their own folks.", "You must be joking?! This is happening now? Where can I put my signature?"
Several children came by to ask for leaflets and petitions so that they could distribute them to their friends and relatives and tell people about the persecution. In this beautiful way they supported our activities.
We would like to thank everyone who came to support us with their words of encouragement and their signatures.
