Clearwisdom.net) Since the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners was made public, the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui/Clearwisdom website organized the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG). The CIPFG has been collecting information from many people throughout society. The following are several leads that the CIPFG collected recently. We hope that more people with information can help us to reveal additional facts about the persecution of Falun Gong in Chinese labor camps, prisons and hospitals. Together we will stop the persecution.

Investigation Lead: Xiantao City First People's Hospital Performed "Free Liver Transplant"
Information from Xiantao City, Hubei Province: On June 6, 2006, Xiantao First People's Hospital performed a "liver transplant" free of charge. The patient's name is Chen Renyun, a Xiantao native, who was diagnosed with late-stage liver cancer in April 2006. The live liver donor's identify is suspicious. According to a source, the live donor was air transported from Guangdong. The surgeon was Ming Changsheng, deputy director of the Organ Transplant Research Institute at the Tongji Hospital under the auspices of the Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Investigation Lead: Doctor Claims That Organ Donors Signed the Donor Agreement
Recently, I visited a certain doctor who participated in organ transplant surgeries. He admitted that organ transplants exist in China. He claimed that all "donors" signed the organ donor agreement. When I questioned him and suggested that some of the signatures might be fake, he did not reply. When talking about surgical procedures he said, "Organ harvesting is done in an unmarked vehicle without a license plate. The windows are covered so no one can see inside. Different surgeons take what they need -- some take corneas, some kidneys and some a liver."
Based on my understanding, according to Chinese people's culture, most people are unwilling to donate their organs, unless it is for their own loved ones. [Chinese tradition holds that a body must be intact for funerals.]
Also, my contact with condemned criminals tells me they had no idea that their organs would be removed before the execution, let alone signing the organ donor agreement. The number of condemned criminals in my area is far less than the number of organ transplants performed.
Suggestion: When the investigators enter China, they should begin their investigation by scrutinizing the signatures on the organ donor agreements. They should talk to the victim's family and asked them if the victim agreed to donate his/her organs. Chances are they may not even be able to find any family members, because the signatures and names on the agreement may be fabricated.
Note: For security reasons, the doctor's name and address are being withheld for the time being.
