1. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] At Least Two Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested

Police harassed and arrested Mr. Zhang Hongjie several days ago and put him into a brainwashing center. Ms. Ying'er from Dingzhou City was arrested several days ago. Her whereabouts are unknown.
Officials from Ziwei Township, Dingzhou City harassed and arrested a few practitioners. They ordered every practitioner to fill out and sign a form.

2. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Lan Duo Arrested and Her Whereabouts Unknown

Personnel from the Tangfeng Township Police Station in Shenzhou City went to Ms. Lan Duo's home in Chanyuan Village on October 4, 2007. They confiscated her satellite receiver used to view New Tang Dynasty TV programs. Only her child was at home when this happened. Personnel from the county's police department, from the Judicatory Department, and from the village government used the ruse that she had the satellite receiver at home to arrest Ms. Lan on October 7, 2007.

They then used the key they had stolen from Ms. Lan and ransacked her home on October 8, 2007. They confiscated all Dafa books, persecution truth materials and some other items. Ms. Lan's husband chose to live in exile.

3. [Houma City, Shanxi Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Police arrested three practitioners from Houma City on September 9, 2007. They are Mr. Zhao Mingtang, Mr. Chen Lin, and Mr. Zhao Jianhua. The arrest happened when they distributed persecution truth materials in Jishan County.

4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Sheng Lihong Held at the Yaziquan Detention Center

Ms. Sheng Lihong lives in the Dongli District, Harbin City. She was arrested and taken to the Yaziquan Detention Center when she explained the facts about Falun Gong during the "October 1" holiday (the CCP's China National Day).

5. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Personnel from the Hefei City National Security Division and from local police station arrested several practitioners the night of September 28, 2007. The arrest of five practitioners has been confirmed. Practitioner Mr. Zhou Zuolun, one of the five, is 82 years old. He was sent back to his hometown and closely monitored.

6. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Practitioner Wang Jun Arrested

Police arrested Mr. Wang Jun from Hefei City on October 1, 2007. A few other practitioners were also arrested that day.

7. [Chongqing] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Practitioner Xia Jiazuo and Her Daughter

Personnel from the Dadukou District National Security Division and from the Yongchuan Police Station arrested 54-year-old Ms. Xia Jiazuo. They also arrested her 25-year-old non-practitioner daughter, Ms. Zhou Chengyao. It happend the afternoon of September 28, 2007. Ms. Xia is a retired employee from the Chongqing City Yongchuan Silk-Spinning Factory. Her daughter is an employee of the Chongqing Longtousi Railway Station. Police put Ms. Zhou into the Jiulongpo District Huayan Detention Center and brutally beat her.

8. [Chongqing] Practitioner Huang Shuying Arrested

Two officers from the Jingguan Town 610 Office in the Beipei District, Chongqing City, broke into practitioner Ms. Huang Shuying's home in Malan Village, Jingguan Town, the afternoon of September 26, 2007. They photographed and ransacked the place. They also confiscated some [printed] truth clarification poster. The Malan Village Party secretary led officials from the town "610 Office" and arrested Ms. Huang. Her place of detention is unknown.

9. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Zhang Guifan Arrested

Zhaoyuan County Police Department chief Sun Kening led policemen from Daqing City and arrested Ms. Zhang Guifan at 12:00 p.m. on October 9, 2007. They confiscated certain truth-clarification materials and Dafa books.

10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Persecution Incidents Regarding Practitioner Yin Libin's Family

Personnel from the Dalian City Zhongshan Police Department and from the city's National Security Division arrested Mr. Yin Libin on August 14, 2007. They issued an arrest certificate for him several days ago. Mr. Yin is presently being held at the Yaojia Detention Center. Mr. Yin's mother is no longer living. His 70-year-old father, his wife, and a two-year-old child depend on his income. They lead a very difficult life. In addition, police ordered agents in the local residential committee to monitor Mr. Yin's father. They even put Mr. Yin's father under house arrest for a time.

Mr. Yin had already been arrested in 2000 and held at a forced labor camp for two years.

11. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Dong Wenwu Facing Illegal Sentence

Practitioner Mr. Dong Wenwu from Daqing City is presently held at the Ranghulu District Detention Center. He is facing illegal sentencing to forced labor.

12. [Gansu Province] Deplorable Crimes in Ping'antai Forced Labor Camp

Fourteen practitioners were held in Ping'antai Forced Labor Camp's No.6 Division, No.16 Group, in June 2007. They were: Mr. Li Shengming, Mr. Li Yuanji, Mr. Li Junling, Mr. Jing Zhanchun, Mr. Luo Yongde, Mr. Wang Ligui, Mr. Zhou Zhongde, Mr. Hou Youhu, Mr. Hu Yaorong, Mr. Wang Yongchang, Mr. Chen Xuzhong, Mr. Bao Jianfeng, Mr. Zhu Tianhui. and Mr. Cao Qiang.

13. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Police Arrested Practitioner Ms. Wang Lijun on October 9, 2007

14. [Bazhong City, Sichuan Province] Personnel from the 610 Office Persecute Practitioners

Personnel from the Bazhong City 610 Office recently arrested more than 30 practitioners. Seven practitioners have been sentenced. They included Ms. Yang Qinghua, Ms. Zhou Lihua, Ms. Wang Xiaoying, Liao, and Zhao.

15. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Fan Linpu and Lan Xianghua Arrested

Personnel from the Hongan Town Police Department arrested Ms. Fan Linpu and Ms. Lan Xianghua from Tumen Village's No.1 Group, Hongan Town, Chengdu City between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m., on September 30, 2007. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Some other practitioners were also arrested from the Longquan District, Chengdu Cit,y on September 30, 2007. Personnel from the Spaceflight Complex Jia District's 610 Office arrested practitioners Ms. Li Fanglin and Ms. Zhang Zhifang, in their 60s. Police arrested 70-year-old practitioner Ms. Shi Lanfang from the Middle District, 40-year-old practitioner Ms. Tao Lihua from the Wanmu Garden, and 60-year-old practitioner Ms. Shen Shufang from the Transportation Bureau from their homes.

16. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Liu Mei Held at the Jinzhou City No. 1 Detention Center

Six officers including Li Donghong from the Linghai City Jincheng Police Department broke into Ms. Liu Mei's home in the Jincheng District No.9 Building at 10;00 a.m. on October 4, 2007. They arrested Ms. Liu and ransacked her home. In the meantime, several other officers including Wang Jingfeng from the city's police department and from the Jincheng Police Department ransacked Ms. Liu's mother's home. Ms. Liu is presently being held at the Jinzhou City No.1 Detention Center.

17. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Liu Yanxia Arrested

Personnel from the Daqing City National Security Division ransacked Ms. Liu Yanxia's home and confiscated some Dafa books, a computer, and a printer at noon on October 9, 2007. It is unknown where Ms. Liu is being held.

18. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Wenxiang Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Wang Wenxiang is a farmer from Dashiwuji Village, Wangdu County. He was arrested on September 22, 2007. Police ransacked his home and confiscated a desktop computer, a satellite TV receiver, a removable hard disc, some Dafa books and other items. Police ordered his father to pay money; otherwise, he would be sentenced to forced labor. His family did not have enough money. He had to eventually sign the forced labor notice.

19. [Ruyang County, Henan Province] Practitioners Geng Shuixian, Qu Yuxia and Wang Sumin Arrested

Personnel from the Ruyang County National Security Division arrested practitioners Ms. Geng Shuixian, Ms. Qu Yuxia, and Ms. Wang Sumin from Ruyang County on October 7, 2007. The arrests happened when the practitioners distributed truth clarification materials in the residential building of the county's water company. Police took them to the county's detention center and ransacked their homes.

20. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ma Xiaoying Arrested

Officer Huang Jianliang from the Peishan Town Police Department in Yi County arrested Ms. Ma Xiaoying at 4:00 p.m. on October 7, 2007. Ms. Ma is being held at the county's detention center. She could not eat anything because of severe persecution.

21. [Shunping County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Shi Dazhuang Held at the Shunping County Detention Center

Personnel from the Shunping County 610 Office and from the county's police department often harass practitioners. Mr. Shi Dazhuang from Shimenzhuang Village was arrested and held at the county's detention center. Police demolished several practitioners' satellite TV receivers.

22. [Qian'an City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wan Yonghong Arrested

Police arrested Ms. Wan Yonghong from her office in the Dianli Hall Industrial and Commercial Bank at 11:00 a.m. on October 9, 2007. They then ransacked her home and confiscated a laptop computer and a satellite TV receiver. Ms. Wan's whereabouts are unknown.

23. [Sichuan Province] Practitioner Mei Xiuzhen Arrested

Personnel from Ziyang City and Anyue County 610 Offices and police departments arrested Ms. Mei Xiuzhen from her newly-married daughter's home in Ziyang City at 9:00 p.m. on October 2, 2007.

24. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioners Wang Suihong and Tan Meili Held at the Jiangxi Province Women's Prison

Ms. Wang Suihong, an employee from the Jiujiang City Oil Extraction Factory, was sentenced to eight years in prison and has been held in the Jiangxi Province Women's Prison for two years. Her husband could not withstand the persecution of the family and divorced her. Ms. Wang's sister takes care of Ms. Wang's 20-year-old daughter, who had a head injury. Police in the prison ordered drug-abusers to beat Ms. Wang. Police sometimes covered her head with cotton and hit her head.

Practitioner Ms. Tan Meili is also being held in the prison. Her husband arrived at the prison to visit her in September 2007, but officials prohibited the visit. Ms. Tan had been put into a detention center in March 2007. She was bailed out for medical treatment on June 3, 2007, because of poor health. She is now again being held in a prison, and family visits have been denied.

25. [Zhengyang County, Henan Province] Practitioners Zhang Daoqing and Xu Xiujuan Arrested

Personnel from the Zhengyang County Police Department and from the 610 Office followed Ms. Zhang Daoqing and Ms. Xu Xiujuan at 11:00 a.m. on October 1, 2007. They arrested the two practitioners at a home and then ransacked the place. They confiscated three computers, three printers, and some Dafa books.

26. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Police from the Daoli District, Harbin City, ransacked several practitioners' homes in Kangjia Village at 5:00 a.m. on October 4, 2007. They arrested practitioners Mr. Huang Jian, Mr. Wu Zhaofang, Mr. Sun Weiping, and the Chen couple.

Practitioner Mr. Wang and another practitioner went out and explained the persecution facts about Falun Gong on October 1, 2007, but they have not returned. Mr. Wang's wife and another practitioner were arrested.

27. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Li Dejun Facing Illegal Trial

Mr. Li Dejun from Dalian City is a senior judge in Liaoning Province. He is presently being held in a separate room at the city's Railway Detention Center. His case was submitted to the city's procuratorate in early August 2007. The city's procuratorate agents then assigned personnel from the Pulandian City Procuratorate to charge Mr. Li in late August 2007.

28. [Weiyuan City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Lin Chunquan Arrested

Mr. Lin Chunquan's older and younger brothers-in-law led local police officers to Mr. Lin's home and arrested him the night of October 1, 2007. Mr. Lin was a teacher in Weiyuan City, Sichuan Province. He had lived in exile and had just returned home.

29. [Liangshan State, Sichuan Province] Police Arrest Practitioner Zhao Guowei Again

A few officers including Liu Jianping from the Huili County National Security Division in Liangshan State ransacked Mr. Zhao Guowei's home on October 8, 2007. They confiscated an MP3 and an MP4 player and arrested him at 8:00 p.m. that day.

30. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Long Guande and His Wife Ms. Zhan Xuemei Arrested the Morning of September 23, 2007; Their Whereabouts Are Unknown

Practitioner Ms. Zhao Xia, 40 years old, is from Chenggu County. She was reported when explaining the persecution facts about Falun Gong in the middle of September 2007. Her whereabouts are unknown.

32. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Ms. Zhong Fangqiong and Ms. Mao Kun Facing Illegal Sentence

33. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] Unknown Whether or Not Practitioner Chen Pingwei Is Alive in Sanshui Forced Labor Camp

One of practitioner Ms. Chen Pingwei's cellmates informed us in January 2007 that Ms. Chen had suffered inhumane tortures at the Guangdong Province Women's Forced Labor Camp. She was in the No. 6 Division in the Sanshui District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province Forced Labor Camp. Police did not allow Ms. Chen to buy daily necessities and also did not permit other inmates to share those items with Ms. Chen. [For Western readers: prison authorities in China do not supply inmates with soap, toilet paper, or even a toothbrush, and other basic items.] Thus, Ms. Chen did not have shampoo, laundry detergent, or sanitary napkins. Police ordered drug-abusers to torture Ms. Chen. When she was on a hunger strike they tied her up and force-fed her. They kept her from sleeping. Ms. Chen was close to death. Police took her out of the cell in late 2006. She did not take anything with her and has not yet returned. We do not know whether or not she is still alive.

34. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Seventy-five-year-old Practitioner Chi Shuzhen Arrested; Whereabouts Unknown

Personnel from the Qinhuai District 610 Office, from the district's police department, and from the local police station arrested 75-year-old Ms. Chi Shuzhen from the Qinhuai District, Nanjing City, in middle of August 2007. Her whereabouts are unknown.

35. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Police Confiscated Practitioner Liu Binglan's Personal Belongings

About a dozen policemen from Gaobeidian City surrounded a small tailor shop at 10:00 a.m. on September 26, 2007. They ransacked the place and confiscated a TV, a laptop computer, a VCD, a recorder player, an amplifier, a cellphone, two local cellphones (PHS), and some Dafa books and CDs.

The store's owner is Ms. Liu Binglan from Cangzhou City, Hebei Province. Her husband could not bear up under the persecution and divorced her. Her husband took over their house and child. Ms. Liu's brother and mother died. She lives alone and had opened the store to make a living.

36. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Yin Guirong Arrested

Ms. Yin Guirong from the Jingxia District, Daqing City, was told to get the verdict certificate from the local police station on October 8, 2007; however, police arrested her when she entered the police station. They took her to the city's detention center.

37. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Feng Wenge Arrested

Feng Wenge, 43 years old, is from Houyingzi Village, Hengdaohezi Township, Tieling City, Liaoning Province. He had worked in Fushun City for many years. Personnel from the Shuncheng District Police Department arrested him and took him to the Hedong Police Station the night of September 30, 2007. The arrest happened when Mr. Feng explained the persecution facts about Falun Gong in the Hedong Area in Fushun City.

38. [Boye County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Chang Shuqin Arrested

Six officials from the Chengdong Township Government and from the township's police station in Boye County, Baoding City, ransacked several practitioners' homes on September 30, 2007. They ransacked four practitioners' homes in Lichun Village and confiscated some Dafa books, copies of "Minghui Weekly," and truth clarification materials. They ransacked four practitioners' homes in Dongbozhang Village and confiscated three satellite TV receivers. They also ransacked four practitioners' homes in Chengdong Village. Ms. Chang Shuqin was arrested on October 2, 2007. She has been put into a forced labor camp in Shijiazhuang City.

Personnel from the Boye County National Security Division, from the Chengwei Township Police Station, and from the Nanxiaowang Township Police Station arrested 60-year-old practitioner Ms. Qi Fengqiao from Chengwei Village. They took her to the county's detention center.

Practitioner Ms. Peng Shiqiong from Huaying City, Sichuan Province, was released after the extended forced labor term, but the police still monitor and follow her.

40. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Mr. Jiang Lide

Practitioner Mr. Jiang Lide, 37 years old, from Lujia Village, Wutai Township, Dehui City, used to be an employee of the township's Grain Depot Station. Four officers including Wang Li from the township's police station broke into his home, ransacked the place, and arrested him. Mr. Jiang is presently being held at the city's detention center. All family visits are forbidden. Police even pushed his 70-year-old mother out of the detention center's reception room. Mr. Jiang has been on a hunger strike for more than 20 days.

Five officers from the Houma City Police Department's Politics and Security Section broke into practitioner Mr. Yuan Jinming's home in Beiguoma Village on July 26, 2007. Police ordered criminals in the detention center to beat him and force-fed him.

Six officers from the Linfen City Railway Police Department broken into practitioner Mr. Li Yongan's home and ransacked the place and arrested him on August 23, 2007. They took him to the police department's detention center.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Zhongyuan is from Fengwang Village, Gaoxian Township, Quwo County, Shanxi Province. Personnel from the Houma City Police Department and from the Quwo County Police Department arrested him in late September 2007. Mr. Wang is presently being held at the county's detention center.

42. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Police Arrested Several Practitioners

Police arrested practitioners Ms. Wang Yuying, Ms. Yu Liying, Ms. Li Yumei, and Ms. Wang Guifeng from Shijiazhuang City and a practitioner surnamed Li from the Qiaoxi District the morning of September 21, 2007. Police ransacked their homes. Ms. Yu was released, but the other four are still being held in the Shangzhuang District.
