(Clearwisdom.net) In late August, the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" International Art Exhibition" was held in the Club Gallery in Sofia, Bulgaria. During the two-week exhibition, Bulgarian practitioners organized a presentation of Falun Gong and a demonstration of the five sets of exercises.

The presentation started with an explanation of the history of Falun Gong detailing how Mr. Li Hongzhi held seminars in China since 1992 and how the practice attracted 100 million adherents in just 7 years. The presentation discussed the awards and proclamations Falun Gong received from the Chinese government before the persecution and the physical and mental health benefits of the practice.
The presentation continued to discuss the persecution initiated by the former communist leader Jiang Zemin who viewed the popularity of Falun Gong as a threat to his power and thus launched a nationwide hate campaign against the practice. This persecution has led to more than 3074 deaths and has been going on for more than eight years.
Practitioners told the guests about the principles of Falun Gong - Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance - and their cultivation experiences. After the presentation, they demonstrated the five sets of exercises, while a practitioner explained the effects and specifics of each of the exercises.

Almost all the visitors at the exhibition asked where they could learn the exercises and how to obtain the books of Falun Gong. Many people expressed their respect for Falun Gong and some promised to organize meetings with their friends to learn the Falun Gong exercises.
