(Clearwisdom.net) Recently many extreme torture cases have occurred in Hebei Province. Practitioner Ms. Wang Ping (alias) was from Langfang City, Hebei Province. Police arrested her in her home on March 8, 2004. She was was locked in the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan for 13 months and suffered a lot of inhumane torture. The Beijing police even raped her on a public street because she refused to give up her belief in Falun Gong. When Ms. Wang was in the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp, the guards threatened to strangle her if she didn't comply. The guards often beat her with various excuses until her face was bloody and her clothes were torn. One time, female guards removed her clothes and forced her to stand for a prolonged period of time in public to humiliate her.
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Wenliang was savagely tortured in Handan City Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Zhang was imprisoned in the Handan Forced Labor Camp. Because he refused to renounce Falun Gong, guards Gao Jinli, Zuo Tao, Zeng Yiwei, Zhang Wenshan, and Lin Tao tied him up in a T-shape. The guards used two electric batons to shock him on his chest, armpits, inner thighs, and genital. His skin was badly burned.
On September 12, 2006, Li Zhiqiang, former officer from the Quzhuang Brigade, arrested practitioner Ms. Chen Suxiang, from Dongyaoxia Village, Kaiping District, Tangshan City. Li and other officers viciously beat Ms. Chen before sending her to the Kaiping Police Station. The police shackled Ms. Chen's hands and legs and tortured her for a day. Ms. Chen died on the the following day because of the severity of the torture.
There are three prisons in Tangshan City, Hebei Province that aggressively persecute Falun Gong practitioners: the Hehuakeng Forced Labor Camp, the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp, and the Jidong Forced Labor Camp. Not many of the persecution cases from these places have been exposed. We haven't done enough and many practitioners haven't paid enough attention to the importance of exposing the torture cases. The evil is still viciously torturing practitioners using every possible means.
I want to share with my fellow practitioners from Tangshan City how we can better follow Teacher's instruction to "utterly eliminate the evil." Recently I noticed that practitioners in Tangshan weren't throughly exposing the evil's brutal torture of Dafa practitioners in a timely fashion. Thus, the evil continues to torture practitioners in the camps and the world's people don't know the extent of the persecution. We should be ashamed that we haven't lived up to the expectations of fellow practitioners and the sentient beings. Every one of us is responsible.
"Exposing the wicked policemen and bad persons and publicizing their evil deeds is extremely effective at shocking and restraining those irrational, wicked people. At the same time, by clarifying the facts to the people on a local level it most directly exposes, and generates public awareness of, the wicked persecution. It is also a great way to save the people who have been poisoned and deceived by the lies. I hope all Dafa disciples and new students in Mainland China will do this well." (Teacher's comment on a student's article.)
Teacher has already told us the Fa regarding this issue. I ask practitioners in Tangshan City to review the Clearwisdom editor's article "Asking Practitioners in Each Region to Look Inward, Learn from Previous Failures, Cultivate Diligently, and Follow the Fa-Rectification Process." I hope practitioners from Tangshan stop feeling numb about the situation, start to expose the evil, and distribute materials that disclose the brutal persecution. We should at the same time send righteous thoughts so those who participate in the persecution will receive retribution. Please remember what Teacher said in Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles,
"I hope everyone will do better and better at the end. Be sure not to become lax. You must not slack off, and you must not become apathetic."
I hope we can work together to better expose the evil!
