(Clearwisdom.net) On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party began persecuting Falun Gong. Since then, officials of the Chinese Armed Forces have been poisoned and directly used by the Party.
I was fortunate enough to find the “Fa” in May 1998. On July 20, 1999, the army division I served in was given orders by the authorities to investigate and report any officials and their family members who practiced Falun Gong. One of the main officials talked to me and said, “A document from our superiors has arrived with orders that it is not allowed to practice Falun Gong anymore. Don't you and your family members practice Falun Gong? Stay home and practice there from now on, and we will not write your names on the list. You should think about our division and leaders, otherwise our superiors will hold us responsible for this.”
After that, several others reported me to this official. However, he shelved the case. My family members and I never stopped practicing and studying the Fa. My duties increased and I became a colonel. My commander has become an even higher official in the army.
There was another practitioner who served in the army. After July 20, 1999, he went to Beijing and appealed. He was later put on a list to be monitored by the authorities. His commander followed the orders from their superiors and said to him, “Do you want your Party membership and army service, or do you want to practice Falun Gong?” The practitioner answered him, “I want to practice Falun Gong.” His division therefore discharged him. Although his chief was promoted to a higher rank in the army, he received karmic retribution and was in a car accident some years later.
It doesn't matter how high one’s position is, or how rich one is, those who follow Jiang's regime and persecute kindhearted people cannot escape punishment.
