(Clearwisdom.net) I started cultivation in 1998. I'd like to share with fellow practitioners what I have enlightened to from the “Fa”, and I hope it might help those suffering from tribulations. Please kindly point it out if you see anything inappropriate.
With the progress of Fa-rectification, the number of old forces, dark minions and rotten demons is dwindling. As a result, our cultivation environment is improving. Nevertheless, I still see some practitioners suffering from interference in the form of sickness karma, which obstructs them from doing the “Three Things” well.
Some practitioners still have the attachment to seeking comfort, so the old forces accordingly take advantage of our gaps and attack us. For example, a practitioner's family member suffers from serious illnesses or passes away, or the practitioner himself/herself suffers from symptoms of sickness karma, etc. Once they feel bodily discomfort, some practitioners think that they have become ill.
Master said,
“Qigong practice and true cultivation practice will not lead to illness, particularly under this condition.”
“As a practitioner, if you always think that it is an illness, you are actually asking for it. If you ask for an illness, it will come inside your body. As a practitioner, your xinxing level should be high. You should not always worry that it is an illness, for this fear of illness is an attachment and it can bring you trouble just the same.” (Lecture Six of Zhuan Falun, 2000 translation version)
All interference targets our attachments. We should look inside ourselves amidst conflicts and interference, find the attachment, and eliminate it through improvement based on our understanding of the Fa. Moreover, while doing the Three Things, we should find and eliminate the attachment that is blocking us from doing the Three Things better. Only this way can we break the old forces' arrangements and can Master help us.
