(Clearwisdom.net) On May 12, 2007, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners came to Stephen Square in Vienna to set up an information desk, hold a picture exhibition and celebrate the eighth annual World Falun Dafa Day, which is on May 13. Practitioners also set up a table to teach people how to fold paper lotus flowers, and many children, and even adults were very interested in the beautiful lotus flowers, which represent a cultivator's character of "not to be tarnished by the dirty environment."

Stephen Square, located in the city center of Vienna, is the very place that every tourist must visit, and it is also the first choice of places for various organizations to hold information day activities, and for street artists to demonstrate their talents. Austrian Falun Gong practitioners prepared truth clarifying materials about Falun Gong in over 20 languages, and distributed them to tourists from all over the world. While celebrating the World Falun Dafa Day, practitioners also clarified the truth about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China and exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocity of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit.
Many tourists' attitude visibly changed after viewing the picture exhibition and listening to the facts told by practitioners. Two ladies was passing by our activity venue and didn't seem interested at first, however they took their own initiative to sign the anti-persecution petition after listening to the facts. They then wished Falun Gong practitioners success and hoped they would continue the truth-clarifying effort to stop the persecution as soon as possible. They also expressed thanks to Falun Gong practitioners for telling them about the persecution.
Several tourists from Graz, Austria said that there were also some Falun Gong practitioners doing the exercises in a park at the city they came from, so they already understood Falun Gong and knew about the brutality of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong.
More and more people came to view the picture exhibition, and signed their names to the petition opposing the persecution. At the time the activity was to conclude, there were still many people stopping by to ask for the truth-clarifying materials and signing the petition.
