There is always a good turnout for the New York Fa conferences since you all know that Master spends a lot of time in the New York area. Each Dafa disciple is trying his utmost to do what he should do on the path of validating the Fa, and since what you are doing at present is closely linked to your cultivation, you are in fact cultivating this way. The form that your cultivation takes has one cultivate in ordinary human society, and people in different social classes or different professions can all cultivate; and as you reside in different societies and make use of the different professions you are in to validate the Fa and save sentient beings in every corner of the world, you are utilizing this present form of society to cultivate.

Mr. Liu Liang, was a 24 year old practitioner from Daheliu Village, Zhangying Township, Jiaozhou, City Shandong Province. Mr. Liu was arrested at the end of September 2006 and was detained at Jiaozhou City Detention Center for 2 weeks. In May 2007, the Qingdao 610 Office ordered the Jiaozhou 610 Office not to close Mr. Liu Liang's case, and that he would be sentenced.
(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Mr. Qu Guangyi from Duhui City was arrested by local police officers during the fall of 2006. They sent him to Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai, Jilin Province where he was subjected to brainwashing tactics. While in the camp, he was brutally tortured. The guards hung him up, deprived him of sleep, and burned his skin. As a result, he was in very poor condition both physically and mentally.
