(Clearwisdom.net) While clarifying the truth, our thoughts should be based on validating the Fa and saving sentient beings. Certainly every practitioner already knows to validate the Fa and save sentient beings. Teacher told us in "Rationality:"
"Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy." ("Rationality" from Essentials for Further Advancement II)
Validating the Fa with rationality and clarifying the truth with wisdom is very important, but how do we know whether we are validating the Fa rationally or not ? How do we know that our truth-clarification is wise or not? Certainly, different levels have different understandings about this. However, I think that when we are clarifying the truth to ordinary people, if we always talk about our understandings of Dafa and our understandings of the things that will happen in the future, or directly tell people the reasons they should quit the CCP, it will be very difficult for ordinary people to accept our opinions, because these methods of truth-clarification can't dissolve people's doubts. It may on the surface resemble validating the Fa, but in reality it can cause ordinary people to be disgusted with us and be unwilling to accept what we have to say. This is not doing well in truth-clarification, as we could push ordinary people further away from us.
Sometimes when ordinary people don't accept our truth-clarification, we should look inward to find whether we have done something wrong or aren't being rational or wise enough, rather than using the excuse that "some people just can't be saved." As Dafa practitioners of the Fa-rectification period, saving sentient beings fulfills our prehistoric oaths and our responsibility in coming to the world. When carrying out our mission, we should also cultivate well ourselves.
