(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, June 16, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Austria organized an information day in Vienna. For about six months, this information day has been held once a month at the U4 Metro Station Kettenbrueckengasse. This is where Vienna's unofficial Chinatown is located. Many local Chinese and Chinese people from other cities can be found on Saturdays in that area, shopping at the nearby Asian stores and Vienna's largest outdoor market, the Naschmarkt. Practitioners gave out leaflets about the persecution of Falun Gong, collected signatures to protest against the torture and illegal organ harvesting of Dafa practitioners in China, and informed the Chinese people of the importance of quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In addition, this time practitioners also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises.
One of the practitioners shared that he could feel a strong energy field, much stronger than he usually felt when doing the exercises. While the practitioners were doing the exercises, many people stopped and watched with great interest. They also took time to read the informational banners.
One young man passed by one of the practitioners. The practitioner held out a flier. He shook his head and was ready to move on. The practitioner asked politely if he realized what is going on here. He stopped and said, "No." She told him about the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime and about the positive impact of the exercises. The young man listened carefully. Afterwards he said that he had not heard about this before and that he found it very interesting. He also said that he wanted to join the exercise group in Vienna. This experience was a wake-up call for the practitioner. She understood that she could not just be passive, but must try again and again to hold conversations with people so that we can much better clarify the truth.
