(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Liang lives on Qiaobei Street, Beipiao City, Liaoning Province. Mr. Wang, his wife, his parents, his sister and her husband all practice Falun Gong. Following Dafa principles and trying to be good people, they benefited from Falun Gong and their illnesses disappeared. However, since the the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, Mr. Wang Liang's family was torn apart by policemen from the Qiaobei Police Station in Beipiao City. Mr. Wang's father, Mr. Wang Junru was tortured to death in February 2006. Mr. Wang's wife, Ms. Zhao Guoyun is still illegally imprisoned at the Shenyang City Women's Prison. Their daughter's life and schoolwork have also been affected since her parents were not able to take care of her.
For the past several years, policemen from the Qiaobei Police Station have frequently come to Mr. Wang's home and continued to disrupt their otherwise peaceful lives. For example, on June 18, 2007, staff from the Residential Committee went to his home to "register" them. After they left, Director Du Dezeng and Deputy Director Gong Qingde from the Qiaobei Police Station came to their home, looking for Mr. Wang Liang. His family lives under constant pressure.
1. The police extorted money from Mr. Wang Liang and his family. The follow are some instances that they could remember.
In July 1999, Mr. Wang and his wife went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. They were illegally detained by police officers from the Qiaobei Police Station and forced to pay 3,600 yuan for bail. Director Wang Aiwu took the money but did not give them a receipt.
In November 1999, Ms. Zhao Guoyun was detained by the Qiaobei Police Station because she appealed for justice for Falun Gong. She was forced to pay 2,000 yuan for bail. Director Wang Aiwu took the money without providing her a receipt again.
In February 2000, Mr. Wang's sister, Ms. Wang Jing and her husband, Mr. Zhao Xiaoming were arrested. They were forced to pay 4,000 yuan for bail. Political Instructor Du Dezeng and Deputy Director Ma Haiyou received the money without providing them a receipt.
In March 2000, Mr. Wang's parents, Mr. Wang Junru and Ms. Zhang Qingrong, were arrested. Their bail of 6,600 yuan was also taken without a receipt issued.
There were also some other fines they had to pay but they could not remember the amount. For example, in December 1999, Mr. Wang Junru, Ms. Zhang Qingrong, Ms. Wang Jing, and Mr. Zhao Xiaoming were stopped in Jinzhou City by the police when they tried to go to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. Police officers from Jinzhou City called the Qiaobei police and ordered them to take the practitioners back. Du Dezeng, Ma Hairong, and Bai Fengrui from the Qiaobei Police Station went to Jinzhou. The Jinzhou police extorted money from Mr. Wang and others in front of the Qiaobei police. They can't remember the amount.
2. Mr. Wang's home was ransacked many times and police officers confiscated materials worth more than 15,000 yuan. The following are some examples.
At 8 p.m. on February 8, 2007, when Mr. Wang Liang was on his way home, policeman Zhang Jingdong and others from the Qiaobei Police Station robbed him and took a laptop, a printer and a cell phone. At 10 p.m. that night, policemen went to his mother's home and confiscated a computer.
On November 20, 2001, Zhang Jingdong and other policemen ransacked Mr. Wang's home and took a computer, a printer and cell phone.
3. Police officers from the Qiaobei Police Station were directly involved in torturing Mr. Wang and his family from the very beginning.
After the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Du Dezeng and Ma Haiyou illegally arrested Mr. Wang Liang and his wife when they went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. They locked them up in the local detention center for three months and then released them. In March 2000, Mr. Wang and two other Dafa practitioners were arrested and illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. They were sent to the Chaoyang District Xidayingzi Forced Labor Camp.
In April 2000, Du Dezeng, Ma Haiyou, Bai Fengrui and other policemen went to Mr. Wang's home. They deceived Ms. Wang Jing (Mr. Wang's sister) and their father Mr. Wang Junru into getting into a police car by telling them they were only going to the police station to ask them some questions. But the police car took them into the local detention center instead. Then they were sentenced to two years of forced labor for "disrupting social order." Mr. Wang Junru lost his life in February 2006 due to torture and the relentless harassment his family suffered.
On June 23, 2003, Ms. Zhao Guoyun (Mr. Wang's wife) and other Dafa practitioners were arrested and illegally imprisoned at the Qiaobei Police Station for exposing the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and clarifying the facts to people. Police officers tied Ms. Zhao Guoyun on a chair for 30 hours, and she temporarily lost feeling in her fingers and back. Du Dezeng also beat her with an aluminum alloy strip. Ms. Zhao's back was covered with black and purple marks. On June 27, she was taken to the local detention center. When the female supervisor of the detention center saw Ms. Zhao's injuries, she was shocked. She immediately called two staff members from the Beipiao City Procuratorate to go there to look at her injuries, as witnesses that the injuries were not inflicted at the detention center. Mr. Wang's mother, Ms. Zhang Qingrong, was arrested and taken there at the same time. They tortured her at the detention center until she was bleeding and then the police from the Qiaobei Police Station took her home on a stretcher.
Currently Ms. Zhao Guoyun is still imprisoned at the Shenyang City Women's Prison and not able to care for her daughter.
This innocent family is being tortured and torn apart by the police from the Qiaobei Police Station simply because of their belief and trying to be good people.
