The Qidong County State Security Division and 610 Office has been arresting practitioners since the middle of June 2007. They have taken practitioners' cash, bank cards, communication devices, and other valuables. There have been fifteen practitioners arrested, and their homes have been ransacked, including Ms. Gui Zongfen, Mr. Kuang Zongyao, Ms. He Qionghui, Ms. Tan Cuiying, Ms. Zhou Zhonglian, Ms. Tan Luyun, Ms. Peng Huayang, Ms. Peng Fang, Ms. Peng Sumei, Ms. Qiu Yuxiu, Mr. Zhou Guangquan, Mr. Jiang Shunjin, Ms. Zhang Yangui, Ms. Xiao Suyun, and Mr. Kuang Sheng. Among these practitioners, only one has been taken to the Hengyang City Brainwashing Center, and the rest are being detained in the county's detention centers.

On the afternoon of June 23, 2007, practitioner Ms. Lu Sanxiu was arrested at the Dianxia Town Market in Zhangshu City. This is her second time being arrested. She is now detained in Zhangshu City Prison, and she is not allowed to be visited.

She was arrested the first time soon after the persecution started. She was sentenced to six years in prison in October 1999. Ms. Lu endured all sorts of torture in the prison, and her rib was fractured. Her food was laced with drugs.

Practitioner Mr. Yu Liangbin is an expert in the field of cultivating rice. He was sentenced to three years in prison. His appeal was rejected by the Suihua City Court. On June 27, 2007, he was taken to the Hulan Prison. His family went to visit him twice, but they were turned away by the prison administration.

A practitioner, in her eighties, lives in Donggangxin Village in Suzhou City. She was arrested when clarifying the truth at the entrance of the village. Police found Falun Dafa materials in her home and tried to force her into revealing who gave them to her. She refused, so she was forcibly taken to a detention center. She used to be very healthy from practicing Falun Dafa. All of her sicknesses were cured. However, due to the detention center's mistreatment, her old illnesses recurred. She is bedridden and cannot move about on her own.

Practitioners Ms. Liang Xueying and Ms. Liang Weiying are sisters. They have been detained in the Guangning County Detention Center. They went on hunger strike to protest the persecution. The guards put them on intravenous drips and assisted in conducting secret trials against them. They were both sentenced to six years in prison. The Detention Center forbade their family from visiting and took them to Guangzhou City Women's Prison on June 28, 2007.

Practitioner Ms. Sun Delian lives in the Zhaoxiang Neighborhood, Shouguang City. On the morning of July 9, 2007, she was arrested when clarifying the truth at Liuwang Market. She is under the custody of the Shengcheng Police Station,

On the morning of June 19, 2007, practitioner Ms. Feng Sulan was arrested by State Security agents and police officers from Liushouying Station. She was detained for 15 days, beaten brutally by police officer Wang Lichun (male), and forcibly taken to the Funing County Brainwashing Center after her detention.

On July 9, 2007, practitioners Mr. Niu Jinghua and Ms. Xu Xiuzhi were forcibly taken to Baoding City Detention Center by police officers from Hanbei Station, but they were turned away. They were later taken to the Dingxing County Detention Center, and they are detained there.

Recently, many practitioners from Zhaoyuan City were forcibly taken to a brainwashing center in Yantai City, Shandong Province. Ms. Yang Wenjie was sent there several days ago and has endured numerous tortures. Ms. Yang Wenjie left her elderly mother, who is almost 90 years old, and her young child at home.

Ms. Li Shufang, 64, was sentenced to one year of forced labor by the Liaoyuan City Police Department. She has been on parole since the beginning of June 2007.

Ms. Li Shuyun, 61, was sentenced to one year of forced labor by the Liaoyuan City Police Department, and she is serving her term in the Jilin Province Women's Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Sun Guizhi, 64, was sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor by the Liaoyuan City Police Department. She was released home on June 4, 2007 after being extorted out of five thousand yuan.

On July 9, 2007, practitioner Mr. Wang Zhihai from Chongqing City accompanied his son to his hometown in Pingchang County. On his way home, his vehicle was blocked by police officers from Yuanshan Town. Mr. Wang Zhihai and his two non-practitioner friends were taken into custody at the Pingchang County Police Department. His two friends were released the next day. Mr. Wang Zhihai is still being detained.

Practitioner Mr. Tan Shuyu, in his fifties, is an early retired employee of the Oil Collecting Factory Supply Station. His wife Ms. Sun Yanmei, also a practitioner, is an employee of the Oil Collecting Factory Maintenance Plant. On the afternoon of July 10, 2007, State Security agent Dong Ning (male) of the Binbei Police Department led a group of officers to ransack Mr. Tan's home and arrested the couple. They are detained in a brainwashing session held at the Shengli Petroleum Field Training School.

Since July 20, 1999, Mingshan County CCP Secretary Cen Gang (male) has planned and conducted the close monitoring, harassment, arrest, and detainment of practitioners living in the county, resulting in several dozen practitioners being detained.

At around 8 p.m. on July 3, 2007, practitioners from Dalian City went to Hua'ershan Township to pass out truth-clarifying materials. They were reported, and the Hua'ershan Village Head Zhou Xingyan (male) restrained a female practitioner tightly. The Village CCP Secretary beat a male practitioner to the ground and then left. In the end, police officers from the Hua'ershan Township Station arrested these practitioners and confiscated their van.

On July 5, 2007, a police officer drove to Tianrun Village, Shidu Township and arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Minggao and his wife, another couple, and another practitioner. He ransacked their homes without a warrant.

On August 17, 2006, practitioner Mr. Wang Tongxin was arrested by concealed police officers in the Xinpai Mall Science and Technology Market. He was detained in the Zhengzhou City First Detention Center. In June 2007, he was secretly sentenced to six years in prison, and he is now detained in the Xinmi City Prison.

Since the beginning of June 2007, Sanhe City police have arrested, harassed, or coerced practitioners to sign their names, make finger prints, have their photos taken, etc. multiple times. On June 4, 2007, the police arrested practitioner Mr. Meng Zhaomin and forcibly took him to a brainwashing session.

At 11 a.m. on July 9, 2007, Sanhe City State Security agents and Xinji Town police officers (more than a dozen combined) stormed into practitioner Ms. Zhao Shuying's home and tried to arrest her. Ms. Zhao escaped with righteous thoughts. The police ransacked her home and took away Falun Dafa books and Master's photo, among other items.

On July 5, 2007, practitioners Ms. Zhao Fengxin and Ms. Song Kunying were reported when clarifying the truth, and they were both arrested by police officers from the Huanghe Blvd. Station (under the Shijiazhuang City Developing Zone Police Department). Ms. Zhao Fengxin is detained in the Zhao County Detention Center, and Ms. Song Kunying is detained in the Wuji County Detention Center.

In June 2006, many practitioners from Yucheng District were arrested. Some of them were detained, had their homes ransacked, harassed, or closely monitored. Ms. Li Lan and Ms. Xu Xinlian were sentenced to forced labor and taken to the Nanmusi Labor Camp, located in Zizhong County.

On July 9, 2007, eight vehicles full of police officers from Shijiazhuang City, Baoding City, and Dingxing County departments drove to Zheng Village, Dingxing County and arrested four practitioners, ransacked their homes, and coerced them to write guarantee statements. These practitioners have been previously detained in the Beihe Detention Center. Three of them were released, but one is still detained.

On July 9, 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhang Yanchun was arrested. She was released on July 10, 2007 after being fined more than 10,000 Yuan. Several other practitioners were also arrested around the same time.

Practitioner Ms. Xue Lijun is a doctor employed by the gynecology department of the Mian County Women and Children Health Hospital. She was arrested on July 3, 2007 while clarifying the truth. Mian County State Security agents ransacked her home. Her 16-year-old daughter did not find out until she came back home on Saturday. We heard that Ms. Xue has been secretly transferred to the Huangsha Town Police Station to be interrogated.

Ms. Xue Lijun was sentenced to three years of forced labor in 2002 and suffered inhuman torture in the Xi'an City Women's Labor Camp. During her term, her father died from grief, and her husband divorced her to avoid becoming implicated.

Since November 2006, arrested practitioners have been mostly detained in the Taiyuan City Detention Center. Ms. Zhang Yan has been abused so badly that she cannot keep down anything that she eats, and vomits constantly.

On July 10, 2007, Yushu City State Security Division Leaders Zhang Deqing (male) and Shi Hailin (male) led police officers from various stations to harass practitioners. On the morning of July 10, 2007, police officers from Zhengyang Station stormed into the homes of practitioners Ms. Man Shujie, Mr. Zuo Zhongren, and Mr. Man. They arrested the three practitioners. On the evening of the same day, police from Peiying Station arrested elderly practitioners Ms. Cui Zhanyun and Mr. Liu Shihua. Police officers from Huachang Station arrested practitioner Ms. Jin Shujun (employed by the City Hospital) from her home. All these practitioners are being detained in the Yushu City Detention Center.

On June 30, 2007, the police arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Maolin, ransacked his home, and took away his computer and other valuable items.

Practitioner Ms. Chen Lanying lives in Donglin Village, Zou City, in Taoyuan County of Changde Prefecture. On July 6, 2007, State Security agents stormed into her home, but she was not there. She has been forced to leave home to avoid being arrested. She has not been forcibly taken to Changde Brainwashing Center (a previous report was mistaken).

Practitioners Ms. Xue Jianli and her husband Mr. Liu Tao are from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. They were arrested on November 3, 2006 in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. They were both sentenced to two years of forced labor. Currently, Ms. Xue Jianli is detained in the Fuzhou Women's Forced Labor Camp and being tortured by being locking in a Small Cell (1). Mr. Liu Tao is detained in the Mawei Forced Drug Rehabilitation Center in Fuzhou City. Police officers from the Siming District Department confiscated their graduation certificates, marriage certificate, bank cards, and other items.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Zuogen lives in Caojian Town, Yunlong County, Dali Prefecture. In September 2006, while working in Weixi County, Diqing Prefecture, he was arrested for clarifying the truth. His whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Wang Zuogen was sentenced to four years in prison in 2000, and he served his term in the Yunnan Province First Prison. He was released in 2004, but he has been arrested again.

More than twenty practitioners were arrested on the evening of June 23, 2007 by Macheng City State Security agents. Among them, sixteen of them are detained in the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center.

Around July 1, 2007, more than forty practitioners from Huanggang City and Macheng City were forcibly taken to the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Centter. They are being detained in the third floor. The Macheng City 610 Office is in charge of this brainwashing center.

At around 9 p.m. on July 10, 2007, led by Li Haihua (male), agents from Anshan City and Haicheng City police departments, assisted by the Niuzhuang Police Station, arrested practitioners Mr. Tian Baowei, Mr. Ji Changchun, Ms. Cui Yajing, and her father Mr. Wang Shouming. They also ransacked the practitioners' homes.

On July 3, 2007, practitioner Ms. Yu Ping, in her thirties, was arrested when passing out truth clarifying materials near the Yuhong Aircraft Factory. She was first taken to the Yuhong District Police Station and then forcibly taken to the Zaohua Detention Center in Yuhong District.

Practitioners Mr. Guan Haibin and his wife Ms. Xu Xiushen live in the Rong County Seat. In the middle of the night on June 27, 2007, they were both arrested at their home.

Mr. Guan Haibin is from Nanning City. He escaped from the forced labor camp and has been placed on the national wanted list.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Mifeng lives in Jianshan Village, Liuhe Township in Yangyi Town, Wu'an City. She was taking care of her older sister, who has been in a hospital in Handan City for cancer treatment since the end of June 2007. On the evening of July 1 or 2 of 2007, Ms. Liu Mifeng was putting up truth clarifying materials along the street when she was arrested by police officers from the Congxi Station in Handan City. Police ransacked her home the next day.

Practitioners Ms. Shao Yanyuan (64 years old) and her daughter Chu Fuqin (40 years old) from Weihai City were both arrested on July 5, 2007 while clarifying the truth near the Harbin Industrial University Higher Industry Zone Campus in Weihai City. Police officers from Wolongshan Station detained them in the Weihai City Detention Center.

On April 17, 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhang Junlan (in her forties, living in the Yi County Seat) was arrested, and her home was ransacked. She was released after five days and has been fined eight thousand yuan.

Recently, police officers from Xinshi District stations harassed many practitioners at home and ransacked their homes. The police also threatened practitioners to not expose their crimes on the Internet.

On July 7, 2007, detained practitioner Mr. Niu Jinghua (lives in the 519 Family Housing Block) was taken to the Dingxing County Detention Center from the Hanbei Police Station

On the evening of June 27, 2007, practitioners Mr. Han Naijun and Mr. Yan Jialiang were both arrested by Tongliao City State Security agents. They were taken into custody at the Ke District Police Department. State Security Division Leader Wang Bo (male) interrogated them the entire night. In the early morning of June 28, 2007, Mr. Yan Jialiang was forcibly taken to the Hexi Detention Center. Three days later, Mr. Han Naijun was taken to Hexi Detention Center as well.

In November 2006, Wuhan City 610 Office agents arrested practitioner Ms. Shen Yanqiao from her home located in the Dadongmen Railroad Neighborhood, Wuchang District, Wuhan City. She was sentenced to four years in prison, and she is currently detained in the Baofeng Street Prison in Qiaokou District, Wuhan City.

Practitioners Ms. Gao Yan'e and Ms. Zhang Surong live in Ji County, Tianjin City. They were arrested on July 2, 2007. The police ransacked their homes and harassed their families. Ms. Gao Yan'e's first daughter, Ms. Hao Xiaojing, is a student at Beijing University (Langfang Campus). She was forcibly taken to the Ji County Detention Center in order to threaten Ms. Gao. Ms. Gao's family has three children that need her care.

At around 9 a.m. on July 11, 2007, seven to eight police officers from Chenxi County Department deceived practitioner Ms. Li Qingxiu into opening her door. They ransacked her home, found several discs, and forcibly took Ms. Li Qinxiu to the local police station. They released her at around 5 p.m. after extorting from her son two thousand yuan.

At around 5 p.m. on July 9, 2007, the Huanggang Prefecture 610 Office, the State Security Division, and the police called Mr. Wu Lin (from Macheng City) and lied, saying they intended to pay him his contracted labor fee. These agents ransacked Mr. Wu Lin's rental place in Wuchang District, and Mr. Wu Lin has been missing ever since.

Practitioner Mr. Hou Wencheng is a taxi driver living in Changcheng Town, Lushun District, Dalian City. He was arrested because he was clarifying the truth to people. He was released after several days. However, soon afterwards, he was arrested again.

Practitioner Mr. Li Chuanfu, in his thirties, lives in Guangrong Neighborhood in Lushun District, Dalian City. He was arrested for clarifying the truth.

(1) The detainee is locked up in a very small cell individually. The guards handcuff practitioners behind their backs in a fixed position, in which the practitioners can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. During the night the rats are running around. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.
