(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioners Cao Jun and his younger brother Cao Feng from Xilinhaote City, Inner Mongolia were persecuted numerous times because of their firm belief in Falun Gong. Cao Jun was illegally arrested and imprisoned in the Wuyuan forced labor camp in Bameng, Inner Mongolia. His younger brother was forced into exile.
Cao Jun was taken away from his home on May 9, 2007. The police sent him to the Wuyuan forced labor camp to undergo persecution and illegal imprisonment for two years without informing his family.
On July 20, 1999, Cao Jun's brother Cao Feng took a trip to Beijing to clarify the truth. On October 30, 1999, he was arrested by the Duolun County police in Inner Mongolia. The police confiscated 1,500 yuan that he carried. Later he was sent to a labor camp for two years. In the beginning, he was sent to Ximeng labor camp, where he was persecuted. Later, he was transferred to the Wuyuan labor camp to undergo continued persecution. Cao Feng was coerced into writing repentance statements as well as the three statements for renouncing the practice. Because he refused to comply, the police extended his confinement for three extra months. After his release, he continued to be threatened and harassed by the Duolun County 610 Office, the police, the political bureau, and the members of the residence committee.
Around March 2003, Cao Feng was detained again. This time it was under the pretext that local practitioners made phone calls to him. While in custody, the jail warden brutally stuck him on the face and neck with an electric baton. He was released after paying a fine of 4,500 yuan. In September 2004, Duolun County's 610 office conducted a brainwashing class. They wanted to arrest Cao Feng to make him attend. Cao Feng was forced to flee, leaving behind his sixty year old parents, and grandmother in her 80s. They were also routinely harassed.
During the summer of 2005, Duolun County's 610 Office staff once again went to Cao Feng's house to take him to the brainwashing class. The political bureau chief threatened to arrest Cao Feng's elderly father. Cao Feng's father, Cao Wanxi, was forced to flee from his home, leaving behind two elderly people to care for themselves. Cao Feng's wife and two month old daughter were also routinely harassed. When she went to visit her parents' house, the officials would also intimidate and harass their relatives as well.
All these atrocities were committed by the Chinese Communist regime against peaceful, kind hearted Falun Gong practitioners. Many police were lured into this inhuman persecution because of economic benefit. It's time for them to stop committing crimes against Falun Gong practitioners and abandon this brutal persecution.
