(Clearwisdom.net) September 8, 2007, marked the annual Lewiston Roundup Parade in Lewiston, Idaho. The Lewiston Roundup event spans four days, and includes a rodeo that attracts champions from around the world, along with a large parade that traverses through downtown Lewiston.
This year was the first time that Falun Gong practitioners have taken part in this large event. Practitioners from Lewiston, Spokane, and Pullman participated in the parade procession. Practitioners remarked that people were very receptive and welcoming. Many audience members applauded as the Falun Gong procession passed by.
One onlooker walked up to a practitioner during a pause in the parade, and said she had recently seen Falun Gong practitioners for the first time, at a fair in Utah, and was amazed to see them again here. She said she would definitely visit the web site for more information about the practice, as she felt there was a reason that Falun Gong was suddenly appearing so prominently in her life.
The parade route was long and many people lined the streets along the route.
