(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Finance and Politics Branch Head Commits Suicide
Mr. Zhang Qibiao was Finance and Politics Branch Head of Ximalin Town, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. He lived in Gaomiaobao Village, Gaomiaobao Township, Wanquan County. He was in his forties. For a long time he actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners. He again was involved in persecuting practitioners during the 2008 Olympics.
On September 30, 2008 Zhang went to a county government meeting. On October 3, his colleagues discovered he wasn't at home, nor in his office. They began a search operation to find him. On October 8, in a tree near Baomiaobao Village, they found his corpse. He had hanged himself.
Town police officer dies
Mr. Li Shudong, in his forties, was a wharf worker before he became a police officer in Jingzhi Town, Anqiu City, Shandong Province. He became involved with persecuting Dafa practitioners. He later died while drinking alcohol at a bar in Jingzhi.
National Security Team Leader suffers a stroke
Zhou Tiegang was Head of the National Security Team of Tangyuan County, Heilongjiang Province. At about 6 o'clock in the morning on September 20, 2008, he had a stroke. He was immediately moved to the County hospital, but due to the severity of his condition he was moved to a hospital in Jiamusi City. He is currently undergoing treatment.
From the beginning of the persecution against Falun Gong in July 1999, Zhou Tiegang wholeheartedly followed the Communist Party. Over the past nine years, 51 Dafa practitioners have been put into forced labor camps under his orders. Five others have been sentenced to jail, including Ma Chunhua who was given ten years and Li Haishan who was given five. One hundred fifteen Dafa disciples have been abducted in Tangyuan County. Many like Shu Qingxian have been held under surveillance and extorted out of nearly 200,000 yuan and had their houses ransacked many times. Zhou Tiegang also personally or by way of instigating convicted criminals, cruelly tortured Dafa practitioners.
It is not the wish of Dafa practitioners to see officials suffer karmic retribution. Over the toils and pains of the past nine years, Dafa practitioners have tried to warn people out of compassion. They have not been deterred by extreme violence, have not feared the bitter winter or summer heat, have been frugal with food and other living expenses in order to put their personal savings into clarifying the truth. It's all been done out of a desire to help the world's people understand the truth so that they will not be involved in the persecution and will avoid suffering punishment from heaven. On this note we compassionately call upon Tangyuan County Public Safety 3rd Department to immediately release the Dafa practitioners who have been illegally detained. Heaven's principles are just and upright. Zhou Tiegang's stroke was a warning. We hope you can understand this message from heaven and quickly awaken, cease persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, and make up for the harm you have caused.
