(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Wu Yefeng is a practitioner in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. The police arrested her on June 15, 2008, and subjected her to force-feeding. She was so brutally abused that at one point she was close to death. The Procuratorate Office planned to illegally sentence her. Six months have passed and no information on her recent whereabouts has been released.
Ms. Wu is 44 years old and lived in the Zhengyi Community in the Shenhe District in Shenyang City. She was divorced many years ago. After she began to practice Falun Dafa, Ms. Wu became more kindhearted and selfless.
Because of practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Wu was sent to Longshan Labor Camp in 1999. During that time, her father was dying and wanted to see her, but those in charge refused to let her see him one last time.
After being released, Ms. Wu was forced to stay away from home for many years. On June 15, 2008, officers from the Yaming Police Station of the Huanggu District in Shenyang City followed her, arrested her, and detained her in Shenyang Detention Center. After the arrest, she went on a hunger strike to oppose the persecution. Guards brutally force-fed her using highly-salted water. At one point, her condition was so bad that she was close to death. On July 23, the Huanggu District Procuratorate approved the arrest. In order to sentence Ms. Wu and five other practitioners to 3-7 years, the Huanggu District Procuratorial Office returned the cases to the police department for further "investigation."
The police have withheld any information concerning Ms. Wu's recent whereabouts. Her relatives are very worried.
