(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) New York Company presented three shows in Chicago December 27-28. The company's unique 3-D backdrop vividly displayed the spiritually rich traditional Chinese culture and left many audience members in awe.
Apple is a businessman who has his own factory in China. He told the reporter that one of his sales representatives in China recommended the DPA show to him, and this was the second time he has seen the show in Chicago. He said, "The backdrop brought divine beings from heaven to the mundane world--what a beautiful scene. For those that don't know about Falun Gong, the show can help them easily understand Falun Gong's plight in China."
Apple said that he knew many facts about the persecution, as he does business in China and he commended DPA's effort to spread the principles of Falun Gong and its success in portraying the themes of "belief" and "hope." He said that no matter how severe the persecution is, one should never give up.
"My greatest hope is that this show will be performed in Mainland China one day," said Apple.

Bruce Garcia is a marketing manager. He saw the show with his wife, Laura. Like many Westerners , they had never before experienced Chinese culture. When asked about their feelings regarding the show they said, "The music, costumes, and dances were absolutely beautiful." They were more impressed, however, by the message of the show, and Bruce said, "It is very good that the show can tell the American audience what is happening in China--we need to know what is going on on the other side of the world."
December 27 happened to be the birthday of Beatrice, an IT manager. She was very thankful to her husband for the special birthday gift. She said, "It is very very touching! Especially the piece in which the little girl's farther was tortured to death ("Persecuted on a Sacred Path"). I was so touched by that one. That piece has a very strong and positive meaning, as do the songs."
Beatrice also praised the show's announcers, "Thanks to their excellent presentation it was much easier for me to understand the show."
