(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Communist officials from the Power Company of Huangmei County, Hubei Province, died
On February 17, Gui Guiqiao, the Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of the Power Company of Huangmei County, Hubei Province; Liu Tao, the General Manager; and Xiong Liming, an executive official, went together by car to deliver a gift to their superiors. On their return trip, the car crashed into the back of a truck. Gui and Xiong died instantly, and Liu died after being sent to a hospital.
Before their deaths, Gui and Liu closely followed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in their company. They sent practitioners in their company to brainwashing centers in Wuchang City. They also forced them to give up Falun Gong by suspending their salaries. They suspended the salaries of the three sons of one practitioner working in the company and then fired them from the company. Practitioners had "clarified he truth" to them many times and asked them not to persecute Falun Gong because they could receive karmic retribution for doing bad things. They responded by saying that they did not believe in karmic retribution.
Karmic retribution is a heavenly principle, especially when one persecutes Falun Gong practitioners who believe in the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance." It prevails ultimately, sooner or later. Gui, Liu and Xiong knew very well that Falun Gong practitioners are good people, but they insisted on committing crimes for the sake of their official positions, dreaming of being promoted to a higher position someday by persecuting good people. However, they could not violate the heavenly principle and received their karmic retributions for what they had done.
To people's surprise, another official who was going to go with them, but who understood the truth about Falun Dafa, suddenly felt ill and decided to take the bus on the return trip and escaped the car accident. Isn't that miraculous? People who understand the truth about Falun Gong will be blessed by heaven.
