(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Sun Xuechen died as a result of retribution for conspiring to persecute Falun Gong
After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Jiang's group started persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, police officer Sun Xuechen from the Guangmingshan Township Police Station in Zhuanghe City, Dalian City, actively participated. Persecuting Falun Gong practitioners became his job and goal in life. Denouncing Falun Gong and cursing its founder and practitioners became his daily routine. He constantly worked with the staged Tiananmen Square "Self-immolation" incident to frame Falun Gong. As early as July 2000, he helped police station chief Zhu Wenxi arrest several practitioners and take them to a detention center. On October 2, 2000, he arrested several practitioners in the middle of the night and took them to the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. He ransacked practitioners' homes and arrested practitioners numerous times. Sun Xuechen cursed and humiliated women practitioners and attacked their personal dignity. He also extorted money from practitioners under his jurisdiction. Every holiday and "sensitive day," he would go to practitioners' homes to extort money and food, threatening them with having to write the three statements or reporting them to the 610 Office. He harassed practitioners repeatedly if he didn't get what he wanted.
To arrest practitioners, he would go to every arrest incident, regardless of the jurisdiction, and give advice to the person in charge. Over the past eight years, arresting practitioners became his obsession. He was the main person in the Guangmingshan Police Station that persecuted Falun Gong.
Falun Gong practitioners were compassionate and tried to persuade him not to participate in the persecution, or else he would suffer retribution. But he never listened. He was arrogant, as if he was in charge, and told everyone, "Falun Gong has been talking about 'retribution' for eight years. How come I haven't received retribution? How come I'm still safe and sound?"
He had no mercy toward practitioners after they were arrested; instead he would fan the flames in front of the chief of the police station, saying: "They will make big trouble if they are not severely disciplined." "It won't do any good if he isn't sent to the labor camp." "Sentencing him to prison is the consequence for his own deed." "Give him serious punishment by sending him to a labor camp," etc. He became an assistant to the chief and enjoyed official rides to and from work everyday.
On January 21, 2006, Sun Xuechen took the official car home after work. Before taking a nap, he told his wife to make him a good dinner. His wife found him in bed, having difficulty breathing and in great pain. She called for help from the police station and had him sent to the emergency room at the Zhuanhe City Hospital. He was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage. After surgery, the hospital authorities issued the "Critically ill" notice to let the family members prepare for his funeral. He was taken home on January 22 and died on January 25, 2006, at the age of 57.
A lecherous police officer
After Sun Xuechen joined the police department, he became arrogant and showed off his title, constantly pursuing sexual relationships using his privileges. He lost a promotion opportunity in 1995 due to sexual affairs and was almost expelled from the police department. The reason he didn't get booted out was because, at that time, a chaotic atmosphere that indulged in pornography dominated officialdom, and he was therefore tolerated. But he never learned his lesson. Everyone involved in the incidents he handled had to grant him sexual favors in order to pass, and only women could get their cases processed. If it was a male, Sun Xuechen would refuse to deal with the matter, saying the facts were not clear. Regardless of age, if he favored a woman, he would promise her, "Call me whenever you need me, I'm your big brother" or "As your big brother, I will do everything for you," just like his boss, Jiang Zemin. In his jurisdiction no one knew who "Police Officer Mr. Sun" was, but everyone knew "Big Brother Lust."
Overwhelming greed
Sun Xuechen claimed to be "a veteran who stays in power under different leaderships." In his jurisdiction he gained control of every (underground) gambling facility, demanded fees from the owners, and doubled the fee every year. According to inside sources, after he died, his family members found 17,000 yuan (about US$2,000) cash in his pocket while going through his clothes. A witness said, "I'm 60 and I never had that much money in my entire life." According to neighbors, Sun went gambling every day after work. And as long as he was present, the gambling was legal. But when he investigated in other villages, he would arrest all the gamblers and confiscate their equipment. He would even send the gamblers to a detention center or forced labor camp if they failed to pay him "fines."
In the money-oriented society under the rule of the CCP, morals are bankrupt, and Sun Xuechen was a perfect sample. Knowing Falun Gong practitioners are good people, evildoers act against their conscience and persecute practitioners unscrupulously. The heavens are finally punishing the bad people.
