There is always a good turnout for the New York Fa conferences since you all know that Master spends a lot of time in the New York area. Each Dafa disciple is trying his utmost to do what he should do on the path of validating the Fa, and since what you are doing at present is closely linked to your cultivation, you are in fact cultivating this way. The form that your cultivation takes has one cultivate in ordinary human society, and people in different social classes or different professions can all cultivate; and as you reside in different societies and make use of the different professions you are in to validate the Fa and save sentient beings in every corner of the world, you are utilizing this present form of society to cultivate.

Farmer Gong Zhaotao Dies in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Gong Zhaotao, in his 50s, was a farmer who lived in Chahe Village, Shuidao Town, Yantai City, Shandong Province. He was arrested in October 2007 while clarifying the truth outdoors and was sentenced to one year of forced labor. He was held in the notorious Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. (Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Xin Shuren, a resident of Tieling City, Liaoning Province, started practicing Falun Dafa in June 1998.
In October 1999, Mr. Xin went to Beijing to appeal and was arrested at the Visitors Office on Fuyou Street. He was subsequently sent back to Tieling by the police and held at Tieling Detention Center. Sun Lizhong and others from the District Public Security Bureau extorted 3,000 yuan from Xin's family and released him.

This continues to this day, with nearly thirty practitioners currently imprisoned there. Practitioner Liu Zhirong of Qingyang was tortured to death in this prison.
