(Clearwisdom.net) An activity to welcome the Olympic Games was going to be held at my workplace. Some of the staff were chosen to participate. In the past, I would never have been chosen for something like this, so I thought the event had nothing to do with me. Unexpectedly, I was one of the six who had been drawn among 30 people in my department.
I was nervous and thought, "I can by no means take part in such an activity. I can by no means hold that bloody flag. I will tell my supervisor that I cannot go." I found an excuse before I went to meet with my supervisor. I also sent forth righteous thoughts. I thought that there should be no problems. However, my supervisor said it was a "company activity" that I had to submit to. During the following two days, I continuously sent forth righteous thoughts, hoping that there could be a more favorable turn. At the last minute, I knew that I could not avoid it. Then I had one thought in mind, "Since I have to go, I will participate as a Falun Dafa practitioner, I will keep righteous thoughts at every moment."
That morning everyone but me was given two flags (a blood-red CCP flag and an Olympic flag). I was in the crowd for a while, but found that it was a chaos, then I left the crowd to distribute Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular DVDs. People who received a DVD were very happy and thanked me again and again. I did what I should do without interference from anyone throughout the entire course of the day.
From this incident, I enlightened to the point that no matter what happens in this world and how it is reflected, Dafa practitioners can walk the path of cultivation arranged by Master as long as we firmly deny the arrangements made by the old forces with righteous thoughts.
