(Clearwisdom.net) Some Chinese people work as the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) spies under the guise of being students from China. The German police have paid particular attention to this situation.
On June 28, 2008, nine cities in Germany jointly held activities supporting quitting the CCP on "Global Quit-the-CCP Day" (July 1). Duisburg, located in the Ruhr Industrial Area in western Germany, was one of the nine cities. This day there also happened to be a city festival going on. There was a larger-than-usual crowd there involved in the festivities. Many people expressed their support upon hearing that nearly 40 million Chinese people have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
At about noon, a plainclothes police officer walked up to the Quit-the-CCP service table, and told the volunteers his name and the department that he works with. He asked if anyone had come to harass them or take photos of them. He also told the volunteers to immediately ask for police protection if anyone came to harass or interfere with the service table. He said, "I wouldn't be surprised if somebody comes to harass you during such a protest (against the CCP). We know of some Chinese students which are this type of person. They study overseas and at the same time do things that a student is not supposed to do."
The police officer especially made a point to tell the volunteers at the service center that he could not sign the petition to end the persecution of Falun Gong on account of his job position, but he said he whole-heartedly supports Falun Gong practitioners. Before leaving, he shook hands with the volunteers and wished them success.
