(Clearwisdom.net) Thirty-seven-year-old farmer Ms. Wu Yinfeng from Pingbao Township, Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province has been constantly persecuted by the local Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organizations and the police in recent years because she practices Falun Gong.
On May 27, 2001, Ms. Wu Yinfeng was forcefully taken from the field where she was working and brought to the local police station. Village leader Wu Jianmin ordered his men to parade eight practitioners including Ms. Wu Yinfeng, Ms. Wang Gendi, Mr. WuJingnuo, Mr. Wu Xuenuo, Mr. Wang Zhenhua, Ms. Bai Gahua and Wu Yuedong through the streets in order to defame and humiliate them before the public. Thereafter, they were detained at the Jingyuan County Detention Center for one month. They were then secretly sentenced to two years of forced labor.
In July 2003, Zhang Guowang from the county's 610 Office and police officer Wang Xincheng broke into Ms. Wu's home and forcibly took her to the Wuchuan brainwashing center in Baiyin City. Yan Yuqing, head of the brainwashing center, tormented Ms. Wu.
On May 11, 2004, Ms. Wu Yinfeng was arrested at her home by police officers Zhong Lianrong and Pan Qianrui from the County National Security Division, as well as Wang Anding, head of the Pingbao Township Police Station and Wei Tiankun. Her home was ransacked and her belongings confiscated. The police forced a 16-year-old child to sign and fingerprint the related documents before taking Ms. Wu to a detention center.
On June 2, Ms. Wu Yinfeng was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor and was detained at the Liugouhe Women's Forced Labor Camp in Lanzhou City, in northwest China. The prison guard Dai Wenqin and Division Leader Fan Yirong gave Ms. Wu injections, infusions and unknown drugs. Ms. Wu had terrible cramping afterward and curled up in pain. She lost consciousness twice and was extremely weak. The forced labor camp only released her when she was critically ill, on June 5.
After Ms. Wu Yinfeng returned home for medical treatment, the CCP officials constantly came to her home to harass and intimidate her and her family.
