(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of January 2, 2009, the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International Company staged its fourth show at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Los Angeles. Local celebrities, members of the media, and other guests attended the reception after the show.
Practitioner Li Youfu of the U.S. West Falun Dafa Association, the hosting organization of the show, gave remarks to thank the guests for coming and talked about the mission of Divine Performing Arts, which is to promote traditional Chinese culture.
Deputy Director Chao Jia-bin of the Taipei Economic and Culture Office commended the show. He said, "The performers have outstanding skills. The DPA show is based on the five-thousand-year culture of China and appeals to everyone. It is a great accomplishment."

Ploy Umporpet of Thailand TV said that there was much in common between the cultures of China and Thailand, and that she enjoyed the show very much.
The executive editor of Foothills enjoyed the show as well. He did not know much about it beforehand, and said that he enjoyed it after watching it.
Before the DPA show was staged in Los Angeles, the hosting organization received nearly twenty proclamations and congratulation letters from members of Congress, California State senators and assembly members, mayors, and city councils.
The DPA show also caught the attention of mainstream and local media. The show had more than thirty media partners, and many prominent media outlets covered the event, including KTLA TV, KTAN TV, Thaitown TV, radio stations KPC and AM1650, and Los Angeles Times, Pasadena Star, La Opinion, Pasadena Weekly, Pasadena Magazine, Orange County Weekly and Korea Times.
