Regarding the colors and costumes in the show, Ms. Sutantil said, "I think the colors add dramatically towards the dance, the performance, and also the sleeves in some of the dances."
She continued, "You know, there are so many different aspects to the costumes. The costumes brought out the dances so much more, and I thought it was gorgeous. It made everything more interesting."
She was particularly drawn to the colors of the costumes, "I loved the colors. The colors were bright and vivid, and they just popped out of the scene."
Ms. Sutantil thought that the backdrops added another dynamic element to the show, saying, "I liked it more when the people were coming down (from the backdrop) and the dancers popped out, I thought it was perfect timing."
Telling a Story Without Using Words
Ms. Sutantil appreciated how the dancers "could show the meaning of the story without using words... They just used the dance and the music, and I thought that was really wonderful. I thought that it was exquisite choreography," she said.
