(Clearwisdom.net) (Clearwisdom correspondent reporting from Jilin) Ms. Liu Yaxian is a grade school teacher and Falun Gong practitioner in Tumen City, Jilin Province. She disappeared a few days ago. People asked around and found out that she had been arrested by the city 610 Office and has been sent to the Tumen City First High School for brainwashing.
On September 22, it was reported that Ms. Liu was detained in a student dorm opposite the high school. The 610 Office uses three rooms on the third floor of the student dorm specifically for detaining Falun Gong practitioners. The windows of these rooms are obscured by spiny plants.
The Chinese Communist Party, in the name of national security, makes a point of arresting practitioners who believe in Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance.
As a teacher, Ms. Liu taught many students how to be better people by following Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance. She has educated many talented pupils. Because she has persevered in practicing Falun Dafa, however, she has been harassed many times by the city 610 Office and local police. In the afternoon on April 11, 2008, she was arrested by Yuegong police officers.
At 2:00 p.m. on July 14, 2008, Lu Gang, director of the Hongguang Police Station, ordered more than 10 police officers to surround Ms. Liu's home. He ordered people inside her home to open the door. Her daughter, a middle school student, refused.
Lu Gang led his staff directly to Ms. Liu's school, First Tumen City Grade School. They blocked the doors to all the classroom buildings and shouted in front of all the teachers and students, "We will not leave without an arrest!"
Harassed and threatened by the police, Ms. Liu Yaxian sought to flee by jumping from the second floor of the building. Although she injured her face, legs, and internal organs, she escaped with the help of kind people.
