(Clearwisdom.net) Seven practitioners from Yanji City, Jilin Province went to Helong City on December 1 to attend a court hearing for their fellow practitioner Ms. Li Fengyun. They were unexpectedly arrested by the Helong police the following day, and three of them are still unlawfully detained.
These seven practitioners were arrested in a hotel near a bus station in Helong City around midnight on December 2. Among them was an 82-year-old practitioner. Four practitioners were released the same day, whilst the remaining three were still under illegal detention.
Mr. Li Chunwan, one of three practitioners still under detention, was transferred and possibly detained in the Yanji Police Station. He is in his sixties. He has a mother in her eighties and two young children. His elderly mother was distraught when she heard of her son's arrest.
Another practitioner, Ms. Pu Shunzi visited Mr. Li's mother with some snacks on the morning of December 3rd. She was illegally arrested by police who were hiding inside her house. The police then lied to Ms. Pu's daughter so as to convince her to open the door. They ransacked Pu Shunzi's house and confiscated two computers, three copy machines, "truth-clarifying" materials and a cell phone. Ms. Pu escaped from the detention center at around 4:30 p.m.
Also, practitioners Ms. Jiang Jie and Ming Shengli were illegally arrested the morning of December 2nd when they were talking about Falun Gong and exposing the persecution near the Helong Court. They were released later.
