(Clearwisdom.net) From January 10 to 22, 2009, the Truth-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition was held in Mersin, a southern Turkish city.

The exhibition was held at the renowned Mersin Club (ISK), a Turkish arts foundation. Quite a few well-known local artists attended the opening night.
An ISK superintendent told the practitioners during the opening night ceremony, "We looked carefully at all the paintings, and we decided to show them in the best exhibit hall. I think that our decision was appropriate."
Mr. Teoman, the Director of ISK, was captivated after visiting the exhibition. He said that he could hardly believe that one could find such great paintings today.
Practitioners talked about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. Mr. Teoman said, "I will e-mail our 200 club members and ask them to make sure that they visit this exhibition."
Mr. Mehmet Ali Meric, a superintendent at ISK and a well-known Turkish painter, was deeply touched and said, "I had tears in my eyes as I looked at each painting. I could barely believe the perfection I saw before me."
Ms. Nefise Olgu, who attended the exhibition with her husband, looked at the paintings that depicted tortured Falun Gong practitioners with tears in her eyes. Practitioners told of the unprecedented persecution and Ms. Nefise and her husband said that the persecution must be stopped.
Mr. Aziz Avci and Mr. Rifat Sen, heads of the local television station SunTV, visited the exhibition. They thought that the paintings were incredibly eye-catching. They said that they would try to cover future Falun Gong events if at all possible.
Ms. Gul Boran was deeply touched and said that her heart was hurting when viewing the paintings that depicted persecution scenes. She said she would do all in her power to stop the persecution.
During the twelve days of the exhibition, many visitors came to the exhibit. They were captivated by the paintings and shocked by the persecution depicted in many of them. They expressed their sympathy towards what practitioners have to endure during this brutal persecution in China. Many visitors had tears in their eyes.
Many visitors wanted to learn Falun Gong and took with them CDs about Falun Gong.
The visitors were full of praise about the artwork and left notes in the guest book. They expressed their sincerest good wishes, and strongly condemned the violent acts committed by the Chinese Communist Party.
