(Clearwisdom.net) Officers with the Jiangzhuang Police Station in Gaomi City, Weifang, Shandong Province harassed the family members of practitioners Mr. Wang Dejun and Ms. Wang Xianglan, his wife.
At about 9:30 a.m. on March 5, 2009, Liang Baolin and five other officers from the Jiangzhuang Police Station drove a police car to Wang Dejun and Wang Xianglan's home. When they noticed that the door was locked, they went to the homes of Ms. Wang Xianglan's mother and elder brother to inquire about the whereabouts of Mr. Wang Dejun. They told the police that they knew nothing about it. Then the police tricked the relatives and got Mr. Wang's telephone number. At about 11:00 a.m., they went to the home of Mr. Wang Dejun's parents and grabbed their phone book. Thereafter, they went and harassed his parents every day, sometimes during the day and sometimes at night. When they were not at home, the police even climbed on the haystack outside the window and looked inside the house and disrupted their lives.
On February 12, 2002, the police tried to arrest Mr. Wang Dejun and Ms. Wang Xianglan, but failed. Thereafter, the Wang's had to leave their home and go from place to place.
In April 2002, the Wang's were arrested and Mr. Wang Dejun almost died. The detention center authorities were afraid of being held responsible in case Mr. Wang died, so they let him go home. Mr. Wang left home and continued to go from place to place. Seven years has passed, but he still cannot go home. His wife, Ms. Wang Xianglan, was sentenced to two years pf forced labor in 2002. The grandparents have to take care of their child. Since Ms. Wang returned home from the forced labor camp, she has had to take care of their child by herself and leads a hard life. The police has repeatedly harassed her and her child.
