(Clearwisdom.net) The persecution of Dafa practitioners at Tilanxiao Prison in Shanghai City is notorious and guards loyal to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) even tie up the private parts of practitioners in attempts to force them to "transform."
In Tilanxiao Prison, to persecute practitioners, the following tortures are utilized: electric batons, brutal beatings, forced-feedings, the death bed torture, sleep deprivation, confinement to a small cell, handcuffing to the ground, forced sitting on an electric plastic ring, and slave labor. When practitioners hold hunger strikes, they may be tied naked on the death bed, where any movement is impossible, in attempts to force the practitioner to give up the hunger strike and give up practicing Falun Gong. The medical staff at the prison, who are known to lie about practitioners being in poor health, have been known to affix a rubber tube to practitioners' genitals and the area at the end of genital organ which is connected to the bladder and tightly tie it with a rubber band, making it impossible for the practitioner to urinate. The CCP utilizes such vicious methods to swell a practitioner's body and cause pain in his kidneys, forcing him to give up any opposition to the persecution.
Dafa practitioner Mr. Jiang Yong was sentenced to an eight-year prison term, and it was reported that he was near death from a hunger strike. He was taken to the prison hospital for treatment. Brigade Commander (of the Sixth Prison District) Fan Zhenqun, along with a few guards, assaulted Jiang Yong with electric batons, while saying, "The electric baton is more effective than hospital treatment." Mr. Jiang was seriously injured from the prolonged baton attacks, and is now unable to walk from being too tightly tied for a long time, which injured his nerves. He was tied naked on the death bed during his hunger strike and his genital organ was tightly tied with strong rubber bands.
Being a strong believer in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, practitioner Mr. Du Ting was sentenced to an eight-year imprison term in Shanghai City's Tilanxiao Prison. He was brutally persecuted for those eight years, and he has been in and out of the prison hospital due to many life-threatening emergencies. On the Chinese New Year platoon leader Zhang Yi and guards threatened him with death. It was recently reported that Mr. Du Ting appeared to be in a coma.
Mr. Lan Bing was sentenced to a ten-year prison term, and he has been under great mental pressure for a long time. On many occasions he suddenly passed out from high blood pressure. Recently his eyes began bleeding uncontrollably, and he often stays in bed due to overly-high blood pressure. Mr. Lan's eyes are unable to reflect light and he can only see within the distance of a meter. His blood pressure is that of 60 year-old man even though he is still a young person. He previously tried to write home but with much difficulty, and now someone else must write for him. Prison officials have been saying that he could be let out on bail, and yet several months have passed since his bailout application was filed.
Practitioner Mr. Guo Shenghuan was sentenced to a four-year prison term. He is being forced to perform extremely strenuous labor. It was reported that his situation is very dire in the Seventh Prison District. Aside from brutal beatings and sleep deprivation, he is often threatened with, "You'll die in the prison if you don't do what you're told." When his family visits the prison, he's always told that he isn't allowed to say anything, otherwise his phone line will be cut off.
