(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhong, a student from China, has been studying in Australia for two years. When she went to the Shen Yun show at Sydney's Parade Theatre, she was pleased to see that both ancient and contemporary China were portrayed.
She said, "I strongly recommend that Chinese people see it. I think it is good to have this combination of Western music and Eastern music."
Referring to "Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution," which depicts the persecution of a Falun Gong practitioner in China, Ms. Zhong said that she was pleased to see that these contemporary issues had been raised.
She said that she had grown up in Communist China, where there was no avenue for these issues to be discussed. She stressed again the importance of Shen Yun raising these issues and said that she would recommend the show to her friends.
Australian MP Recommends Shen Yun to Young People
Australian Federal MP Pat Farmer was pleased to join the enthusiastic audience at Sydney's Parade Theatre. He said that he believes dance and the arts, such as this performance, are activities to be promoted to young people.

Mr. Farmer enjoyed seeing stories from China's classical culture, "Of course the stories that are portrayed in the dances here tonight are stories that I think are pretty well known to people all across the world.
"I know that my children have certainly enjoyed the stories about the Monkey King and stories about the old tales of China gone by, and of course it's refreshing to always see dance reinforce the message of life itself, and that is to live and let live and to care for each other.
"I think it is the basic fundamental belief of all human beings that if we live a good life, we look forward to a reward for living our life in that fashion. That certainly comes through in the story-line. It's the sort of show that I would recommend to a lot of young people."

Mr. Bryan, a corporate financier, was very pleased to be a part of the highly appreciative audience on Thursday, April 23. "I love it! It is very beautiful--extremely beautiful dancing costumes, and stories.
"I have a very strong love of [Chinese] culture and the people. It is so ancient compared to ours."
He said that he was touched by the singers. "The singing of the tenor [Yuan Qu] was very beautiful." He found the entire performance "positive, joyous, uplifting."
Dreamlike and Uplifting
Martine, who works in the housing industry, was also pleased to have the chance to see Shen Yun's third show in Sydney. "I am loving the show. The costumes are beautiful, the choreography is great. It is almost dreamlike! It's beautifully choreographed, and I like the discipline behind it. I am very much enjoying the show."
Des, who accompanied Martine, was also very pleased to see the show. "It's refreshing," he said.
