(Clearwisdom.net) Recently a practitioner told me that he had two Inkjet printers that came from a material production site. The machines needed repair but no one had the skill to fix them. He thought it was a shame for the printers to be idle and asked me if I could take a look. I was surprised that the machines stayed unused at such a critical time. Such a waste of Dafa's resources pains my heart.
I think there are two issues here: one is lack of technical skills, and the other is a xinxing problem.
On the technical side, the people who used the machine might not have properly maintained it. Inkjet printers need to have their waste ink absorbers cleaned regularly. The drain can be altered to discharge the waste ink externally. Thus, the hassle from waste ink overspill should be resolved. Practitioners with material production sites have some advantages, as they can get help from others' experience sharing papers. Some of the articles are very useful, even providing illustrations with the text. Most issues can be resolved from reading these articles. If the problems still persist, we can ask Master from our hearts for a practitioner with more technical expertise. So long as our priority is on Dafa and saving sentient beings, Dafa will enable us to achieve the best results.
But why is the issue of xinxing also important? The equipment at the materials sites is purchased with our own, hard earned money. Therefore, we should cherish every item. When we use the equipment, we should be calm, patient and careful, and we should incorporate a regular maintenance schedule. We should fix problems immediately and not overload a machine to cause further damage. In other dimensions, all objects are alive. We should treat all equipment as our partners in saving people. We should value Dafa resources like we value ourselves.
My family material site was established only a year ago. Due to my meager technical skills and insufficient xinxing level, my first colored Inkjet printer began to break down before long. I thought the printer was beyond repair and bought a new one, but the new printer again ran into trouble.
When we began to practice Dafa and later became Dafa disciples of the Fa rectification Period, Master changed our pre-arranged lives. Everything we have belongs to Dafa, including our time. All of our resources were given by Master, and they should be used to save sentient beings. We have no right to waste anything. The printers are part of Dafa's resources. They are our means to save people. We should not casually throw them away.
After I improved my understanding and realized this principle, Master gave me more wisdom, and I began to learn more skills. When my printers developed problems, we could fix them. We found a way to print the truth clarification messages on cash using old ink, and fixed errors using paper and glue. We tried our best to utilize all the materials and not to waste any. If we treat maintenance as a part of cultivation and understand the Fa's principles, Master will give us all the capabilities. My second printer has been in use for more than two years, and it is still working with me to save sentient beings.
When the need to start a household-level materials site arises, some practitioners would say, "I don't have the technical skills, nor do I have the right environment. I am afraid that I may fail." Some even think, "I fear the evil persecuting me." Let's think about it--it is those human notions that are persecuting you. We are saving sentient beings in the most dignified manner. What we do is the most righteous thing in the entire universe. The evil should be fearful. If you worry about the lack of technical knowledge, then you should put down your human notions. A Dafa disciple should really put the welfare of all sentient beings in their hearts. Your compassion will be noticed by Master and by sentient beings. Falun Dafa is all powerful, and many practitioners have seen miracles happen. Master told us,
"Yet some people talk about 'setting up a bodily crucible and furnace to make dan using gathered medicinal herbs' and mind activities, and they consider these very important. Let me tell you that they are not at all important, and it is an attachment if you think too much about them. Aren't you attached to a pursuit if you think too much about it? Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master. It is good enough if you have this wish. It is the master who actually does this, as you are simply unable to do it." (Zhuan Falun)
If we don't even have this pure wish, how could Master help us?
Before we got involved in the production of materials, I had no idea that I would find so many opportunities to improve my xinxing. When the CCP began to persecute Dafa, our access to Dafa information was blocked. At that time, I made a wish that one day when I had enough money, I would buy a computer and connect to the Minghui website. For that small wish, Master made arrangements for me to have my current environment and I am able to realize my grand wish to save sentient beings. Master said,
"Students in Mainland China actually have a much tougher time. Their materials production sites are basically at a household level, and they spring up everywhere. In other words, people walk their own paths. Each person, or some that are coordinating with each other on a small scale, is walking his own path."
"I want every Dafa disciple to become a king. Each person is to blaze his own trail, and each person is to validate and reach his own Attainment Status." ("Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005")
When household level material production sites became widespread, I began to realize the meaning of "blossom like flowers everywhere." From my efforts over the past three years producing printing materials at home, I learned that doing the work is not that important. The key is to cultivate ourselves using this special cultivation method, step out of the human level, and create our own path to enlightenment. Ultimately, we have to establish our own mighty virtue.
I talked to several practitioners in a good financial condition. When I suggested that they start a materials site, they refused. Using their human notions, they came up with various excuses.
Master told us,
"Master won't say anything when an ordinary person pursues a life of comfort. That's because no one can say that it's wrong for an ordinary person to seek to live comfortably; a human goes about his life with such pursuits. That's what human society is presently like. Master doesn't want to say anything about things of ordinary people right now. But as cultivators, you can't see things that way." ("Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005")
Everything Dafa disciples own belong to Dafa's resources. Your comfortable life might have come from a pledge you made in a past life, that you vowed to validate Dafa with your resources when the sentient beings needed you. Now you have become a Dafa practitioner, yet you don't cherish the opportunity and have forgotten your prehistoric pledge. Are you afraid of losing your comfortable life? Had Master not saved us, how could we even exist today? A fellow practitioner's husband is not a practitioner, and he takes advantage of his privileges at work to generate extra income that he does not deserve. They have a comfortable life. She believes that her husband's extra income was creating karma for him, but she could not convince him to stop making the money. Although her husband is not a practitioner, he is not opposed to Dafa. Several practitioners suggested that she should start a material site at home. At least she could make some DVD's. We told her this could be a good cultivation form for her and she could save more people. In addition, she could help her husband reduce his karma by spending his money on Dafa work (this is my personal understanding, not sure if this is correct). But she could not let go of her pursuit of leisure. Although she does not hesitate to buy luxury goods, she is unwilling to spend money on Dafa work.
There will be many more people for us to save. With limited resources, we should treasure our current environment and use everything we have to save more people.
