(Clearwisdom.net) Although I am a veteran practitioner, I can't always control my xinxing and look at conflicts from the perspective of the Fa when I encounter tests and tribulations. I instead try to solve them using human notions. One time when I shared experiences with a fellow practitioner, he said, "You are young and educated. You should volunteer to do some Dafa work." Without thinking, I said, "No, I can't. I don't cultivate as well as those practitioners. Since I don't do well, I would affect others." Before I finished my sentence, he pointed out that my thought was a human notion and that I was being selfish. He asked, "Do you know what practitioners should do?" I replied that I did. He said, "You have too many human notions. Your righteous thoughts are not strong enough." I still defended myself, "I am doing the three things. How have I deviated from the Fa?" He said, "You think about it and read the Fa. We can continue discussing this issue when next we have a chance."
After he left, I thought about his words. Where did I go wrong? I tried to look within but couldn't find the answer. When I calmed down and studied the Fa, I read what Teacher said in the article "In Fa-rectification Your Thoughts Have to Be Righteous, not Human,"
"My Dafa disciples who have strong human thoughts: the path I'm leading you down heads toward godhood, yet some students just tenaciously cling to human notions."
Teacher's words woke me up. Every day I tried to eliminate my deviated notions, which originated from the Party culture. However, when I encountered problems, I always used my deviated human notions to find excuses for myself, and I found many human notions and attachments that do not conform with the Fa. When I dug deeper, I found that I didn't thoroughly eliminate the obstacle from the bottom of my heart - the tenacious notions from the Party culture. In order to completely disintegrate those notions, we need to study the Fa well and look at things with a god's thoughts. We need to eliminate the human notions and truly walk the path to validate the Fa well.
