(Clearwisdom.net) The first Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference in Central Java, Indonesia was held in the Garuda Hotel, Yogyakarta on August 16, 2009. Falun Dafa practitioners from different areas of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan participated in the conference. Thirteen Falun Dafa practitioners shared their experiences in Chinese and Malay.
Karnadi from Jakarta shared his experience of resolving conflicts and improving Xinxing during his work related to Shen Yun shows.
Chang Chun, a practitioner who came to Malaysia from China in June this year, shared her experience of clarifying the truth in Kuala Lumpur. At first, she stayed away from security guards and unfriendly tour guides. However, she realized through studying the Fa that security guards and tour guides were also people she needs to save. Since then, she started facing them with compassion.
Ten children practitioners from the Minghui School in Jakarta and Surabaya read aloud the Lunyu in unison. The parents of these children don't speak Chinese, but they encourage their children to learn Chinese because they cultivate in Falun Dafa and the original teachings are in Chinese. The parents also learn Chinese diligently and read Zhuan Falun using Chinese phonetic symbols.

Falun Dafa practitioners held a grand parade wit the theme, "Falun Dafa Is Great" in the busy downtown area the day before the conference. The Divine Land Marching Band from Singapore and Malaysia led the parade. Following the band was the banner section, waist-drum troupe, floats and exercise demonstration. The parade created a grand scene for the crowds in Yogyakarta. Spectators of different ages received flyers and tried out the Falun Gong exercise movements.

Falun Gong practitioners did group exercise and formed Chinese characters "Dafa" in front of Borobudur, the largest Buddhist Temple in the world, on the morning following the conference.
