Solemn Declaraion
Around 7pm on September 27, 2007, I was arrested by National Security Officials who broke into a fellow Falun Dafa practitioner's home while I was studying the Fa there. I was illegally sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp. While I was detained there, my human attachments came up and I doubted my ability to endure the terror of the Labor Camp's illegal torture and persecution that have caused the deaths of my fellow Falun Dafa practitioners. I also missed my wife and regrettably copied the so-called "three pledges" against my own free will. I watched the video slandering Falun Gong, as well as some other evil propaganda materials as well as copying "homework" for the persecuting guards. I was released on August 3, 2008. After my release, the local 610 Office forced me to sign another vile pledge and took my fingerprints.
After I left I began to think rationally about what I had done. I realized I was cultivating on the surface only, and I was not truly cultivating inward. I could not treat the Fa with a serious mind, and my attachments to fame and showing off were very strong. The evil forces were able to take advantage of my omissions and persecute me, causing a loss for Dafa. This created a negative impact on other practitioners, including my family and relatives. I solemnly declare: All I said and did that were not respectful to Master and Dafa are invalid. I will learn from this lesson and walk my path well, and persevere in diligent cultivation until the end.

Solemn Declaration
I started to practice Falun Dafa in the spring of 1998. My body and mind experienced many benefits including the many diseases I had being miraculously cured. I deeply felt the wonder of Dafa and Master's greatness and compassion. However, because I didn't study the Fa deeply, I still had a lot of human attachments I had not enlightened to. I did not have a good understanding of the CCP's persecution, and so wrote a "pledge" to them in order to avoid the illegal persecution. Afterwards I deeply felt sorry for not understanding Master's compassion for all sentient beings. Through diligent Fa-study, I came to understand the importance of cultivating myself well. I solemnly declare: All I said and did that did not adhere to Falun Dafa's cultivation way are invalid. I'll start from the beginning, and do a good job on the three things that Master asks us to do, make up for the loss I caused for Dafa, and progress with great effort, cultivate myself well, and hope to return home with Master as planned.
