(Clearwisdom.net) (By a Minghui/Clearwisdom correspondent in Liaoning Province) On December 22, 2009, fifteen Falun Dafa practitioners were violently arrested from their homes in Donggang City, Liaoning Province. It appears that there was detailed planning and preparation for the arrests, with many police involved. The arrests were carried out after midnight.
The police entered the Ji'an Community before dawn with numerous cars and vans. Plainclothes police broke through the security door of Ms. Zhang Wei's home, and forced her and her husband Sun Fuchang into a car. Zhang Wei was beaten up, items in their home were confiscated and a lot of things were broken.
Dafa practitioners Zhang Xiaoping and Sun Jing were also arrested in the Ji'an Community.
Ms. Teng Xiuling of Hongqi Village, Qianyang Town was forced into a car by six policemen. According to people who were shopping for vegetables in the early morning hours, there were two cars nearby at around three o'clock, one of which had a blue license plate. There were many people in the car. These policemen were from Xinxing Police Station, and were brought there by the director of village security.
About twenty policemen emerged from three vans and spend over four hours forcing open the door of the home of Ms. Liu Shufang and her husband, who is not a Falun Gong practitioner. The couple were then taken away. The police officers' fierce behavior gave Liu Shufang a heart attack, and she was still in hospital at the time this article was written.
When the husband of Ms. Wang Chunhua arrived home from a night shift, several police rushed into their house as he was opening the door. They pushed Wang Chunhua down and arrested her. (Her husband is not a Falun Gong practitioner.) Another Falun Gong practitioner, Mr. Zhang, was also arrested as he entered his house.
As Ms. Wang Lichun opened her door in the morning to send her child to school, six policemen forced their way in, leaving the child outside. They took Wang Lichun away without any explanation. Three officers stayed behind and were considering ransacking the house, but Ms. Wang's husband, who is not a Falun Gong practitioner, successfully opposed them. Ms. Wang's father, who also is not a Falun Gong practitioner, had a heart attack and was sent to the hospital.
Other Dafa practitioners who were arrested at the same time include Yu Shuxin, Wang Fuhua, Liu Yanjun, Jiang Xiaoli, Shao Jun and another male practitioner. Among them, Liu Yanjun and Teng Xiulin developed serious health problems and were sent back home. Shao Jun and Mr. Zhang have also returned home.
