Before practicing Falun Gong I suffered from various diseases. Tests conducted at Jinzhou Central Hospital found that I had atrophic gastritis, a herniated lumbar disc, and migraine headaches. I also had other undiagnosed ailments. When my stomach ached the pain was so intense that it radiated throughout my back, and my neck became very stiff, making it difficult to turn my head.
When headaches occurred it was so painful that I wanted to smash my head against the wall. Even though I went everywhere seeking cures for my ailments, my efforts were in vain.
I was very lucky to learn Falun Gong in 1996, and after cultivating in the Fa all my diseases disappeared without using any medication. My temper also changed for the better. I became more tolerant and considered others first when issues occurred. I let go of the mentality of competitiveness and developed compassion. I also looked ten years younger.
My family has also benefited from my Falun Gong practice. When my son was working in a factory he was burned by flames from a furnace. His hair was singed, his face covered in blisters, and his hands were injured and swollen. He was sent to a hospital for treatment.
When I rushed to the hospital my son was in tears. I said to him, "Don't cry, chant 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' Right away!" He began to chant in a loud voice. The doctor who was standing beside us said, "You should put your faith in science." I replied, "Falun Dafa is a supernormal science!"
One of the burn unit physicians said that my son's head would swell much more on the following day, and that he would have to perform an operation on my son's trachea and do skin grafts.
However, my son's head did not swell, and there was no need for trachea surgery or skin grafts the following day. Instead, in a couple of days new skin appeared. My son was discharged from the hospital in seven days and didn't have any scars on his face or hands. Wasn't this a miracle? Wasn't this supernormal? Falun Dafa is a supernormal science!
My uncle was hospitalized in the summer of 2008. When I went to the hospital to visit him I met a 47-year-old patient from a remote area. He had been in a car accident and one of his cervical vertebrae had been injured. There was pressure on a nerve that caused a lot of pain. He was screaming with pain. I told him to sincerely chant, "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" He and his family all believed and began chanting sincerely.
When I returned to the hospital after dinner I found him peacefully lying in the bed. He told me he was feeling a lot better. He said if he had only met me earlier he would not have suffered so much pain. When his relatives asked him how he would get better, he replied by chanting, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!"
