(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Du Liming is from Yitong County, Jilin Province. When local court officials illegally tried her on September 10, 2010, an ambulance was waiting outside the court building. Her family learned that Ms. Du was sent to the Yitong County Chinese Medicine Hospital for emergency treatment a few days later, and that she is in critical condition.
Ms. Du was illegally arrested on July 11, 2010 as she distributed Shen Yun DVDs on the street in Yidan Town. Officers from the Yitong Domestic Security Division, headed by Wang Yingchao, made the arrest. She was then held in the Yitong County Detention Center. The whereabouts of her child, who happens to be mentally challenged and needs significant attention, are unknown. Jitong Court officials, under orders from the local 610 Office, then tried Ms. Du on September 10, 2010. Earlier that day, local police prevented Ms. Du's lawyers from defending her and sent them back to Beijing. After the trial, the ambulance followed the police van to the detention center where Ms. Du was held. Two police officers dragged Ms. Du out of the van and into her cell. Ms. Du had been severely abused under the persecution.

Her family went to the court and related departments on September 20 to demand her release, but guards at the gate blocked them from entering. Her family called the detention center to inquire about Ms. Du's condition, but detention center head Li Guang said that she was fine.
