(Clearwisdom.net) Since Gong Ruiping was detained at the Third Division of Beijing Women's Prison, she has suffered long-term torture from perpetrators led by the division head, Tian Fengqing. During the SARS epidemic, she was put into long-term solitary confinement, where she was beaten, deprived of sleep, not given enough food, and given only steamed buns. She was also brainwashed in attempts to force her to give up her Falun Dafa practice. The director has secretly given her a harmful drug for nearly six months. A director once said, "She is forced to take the drug every day. It has been six months. Even a healthy person would be harmed." She later became mentally confused and physically unhealthy.
Perpetrators Li Xiaobing, Yu Jia and others tortured her using a variety of means, including slapping her face and striking her hands with the sharp end of pens. Under the order of district head Tian Fengqing, policewomen Xi Xuehui (who tortured practitioner Dong Cui to death) and Chen Jing took Gong Ruiping to the small building behind the prison (because no one can hear anything from there) and held Gong Ruiping on the floor. They forcefully separated her legs, pulling them to her sides, to the point of serious injury. She was unable to walk normally for an entire year.
Beijing Women's Prison was formally known as Tiantanghe Prison. It is one of the sites where Falun Gong practitioners are brutally tortured. Practitioners are brainwashed using physical and mental torture. From 2001 to 2004, Beijing Women's Prison physically tortured Falun Gong practitioners to achieve the "transformation" quota demanded by the Chinese Communist Party. The torture methods used at the prison include sleep deprivation, forced standing, denial of bathroom use and washing, forced "squatting" in various positions, being tied up in the painful "flying position" and other positions, forced sitting with both legs crossed, forced separation of legs, slapping, and beatings. Many people take turns "talking" to the practitioners around the clock. From 2000 until today, the perpetrators in this prison have injured many practitioners, and tortured many to death.
