Susie Douglas, Gold Coast City Councilor said in her speech that Gold Coast welcomed the Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition. She also called upon people to continuously show concern over the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, which has been inflicted upon them by the Chinese Communist regime.

Monique Jeremiah, an educator and director of Inspire Tuition Center, said that it was the most amazing art exhibition that she had ever seen. "It deeply touches my heart, and fills me with great sympathy for the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners."
Pushpa Vaghela, vice chairman of the African Communities Association, Inc. said that he felt the art exhibition connected him with China and its people. He saw the noble spirits of the artists and the figures in the paintings, and understood the messages they conveyed.
Members of the Gold Coast Multicultural Arts Group In Collaboration thanked the organizer after having looked at all paintings. They said they found the art exhibition to be marvelous and very moving. "It's an art exhibition that all artists should see," a group member commented.
An audience member said that he had not expected that he could learn so much from an art exhibition. "Each painting is bright and beautiful, and enables one to understand the artist's feelings," he said.
A TV reporter from Channel 9 attended the opening ceremony. He said he learned about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China through the art exhibition, and the works impressed him. The television station broadcast the story about the art exhibition during prime time on the evening of March 1, 2010.
The art exhibition will continue until March 12, 2010.
