Solemn Declaration
In 2007, when I was illegally arrested and taken to the detention center by police, I fell behind in my Fa study and had a strong attachment to fear. During my detention, I dealt with my situation with a human mindset. I renounced my practice of Falun Gong under the sentimental pressure of my family and my attachment to fear. I was very depressed and lost my confidence after I was released. I felt unworthy of Master's benevolent salvation. Through Fa study, I recently realized it was extremely irresponsible to give up Falun Gong practice so easily. I now clearly understand my immense responsibility. If I do not cultivate well, I will destroy those sentient beings that have put their infinite hope in me. I solemnly declare: All the mistakes I have made that are not in compliance with Dafa's teachings are null. The guarantee statement I wrote is void. I will resume practicing cultivation. I cannot take Master's benevolence as something frivolous. I will strengthen my righteous thoughts by diligent Fa-study; so that I can distinguish evil and save sentient beings.

Solemn Declaration
I became a Dafa practitioner in 1996. Since the persecution started July 20, 1999, I have done and said disrespectful things toward Master because of fear of being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. I also signed guarantee statements. In the detention center, I pressed my fingerprint to a document attesting that I would stop practicing Falun Gong. In a labor camp, I "self-criticized" and wrote the three statements. I cooperated with police to brainwash fellow practitioners. I defamed Dafa and did many damaging things to Master and to fellow practitioners. I solemnly declare: All of the disrespectful things I have done and said that disobey Dafa and Master are null. I will do the three things well, keep up with Master's Fa-rectification and cultivate Dafa steadfastly to the end.
