Director of Asian Philosophy Society: Falun Gong issue is not only China's issue
Mr. Choi, Director of the Asian Philosophy Society and a professor at Bushan University, sent a letter of congratulations to the event. He stated, "During the past 11 years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has conducted a most brutal and unprecedented persecution of Falun Gong, especially the harvesting of organs from living practitioners. As a scholar of philosophy, I was very indignant when I heard about this. However, the CCP's persecution is still ongoing. I think everyone of us needs to be responsible."
Mr. Choi stressed, "The Falun Gong issue in China is a universal human rights issue, not only China's issue. It is an important, international issue."
Representative of a citizens' group: Falun Dafa is righteous cultivation.
A representative of the South Korea Pan-National Alliance for Judicial Reform also spoke in the rally, "Though the history of Falun Gong is not long, more than one hundred million people in more than one hundred countries practice it. That is surprising. It has been embraced around the world so fast, quite the opposite of the CCP's propaganda. Falun Dafa is righteous cultivation."
