(Clearwisdom.net) In recent years the Police Department of Dalian City, Liaoning Province, has been sponsoring programs to choose a police hero. They have advertised it on the web, on TV and in newspapers. I checked and learned that three police heroes were recently chosen.
Two of the three had died after persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Yu Yongxiang, a detective for the Ganjingzi Police Department under the Dalian City Police Department, was given the title, "Second Level Police Hero" after he died. Zhao Zhenjin, Instructor at the Huanghailu Police Station, was given the title, "First Level Police Hero" after he died. Fang Guangji is the current Deputy Chief of the Hekou Police Department. The fact that he persecuted Dalian City Falun Gong practitioners has been exposed several times.
At around 1:15 p.m. on May 13, 2001, Yu Yongxiang died of a sudden heart attack. He was 37 years old. A trusted source said that at the time, a brainwashing center for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners was being built by the Ganjingzi Police Department. Yu Yongxiang was the main person responsible for building the brainwashing center.
Zhao Zhenjin also died after actively persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. He died from a sudden heart attack in his office at age 55. The CCP claimed that said that he died after "overwork." Zhao Zhenjing was given the title of "First Level Police Hero." In reality, he was a victim of the CCP's persecution, sealing his fate when he chose to be a part of it.
Fang Guangji's role in the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners was exposed several times on the Minghui website. He was directly responsible for the 7-year prison sentence given to a righteous lawyer, Wang Yonghang, who had defended Falun Gong practitioner Cong Rixu in court. Fang Guangji was given the title of "First Level Police Hero"and "Excellent People's Police of the Nation" by the Dalian City Police Department.
The police's duty is to serve and protect the people. Based on the Chinese police's choice of who to call heroes, it seems that its priority is much different than that.
