(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wen Cuijua's daughter is preparing to take her college entrance exams in June. During this most critical time, all parents show great attention and solicitude to their children, with the hopes that they achieve good scores and enter an ideal university. Unfortunately however, on March 2, 2010, Ms. Wen was unlawfully arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of Qianan City, and on March 4, 2010, she was sent to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City. She was arrested because she believed in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. During this most crucial time when Ms. Wen's daughter needs her mother the most, her mother was taken away from her.
At the time of Ms. Wen's arrest, at around 3:00 p.m. on March 2, 2010, Pu Yonglai, Sheng Maobin, and four or five other officers from the Domestic Security Division of Qianan City suddenly broke into their home. Ms. Wen was not home at the time however, so the police interrogated her husband. They ransacked the home without showing any legal documents and then forced her husband to lead them to Ms. Wen. They justified their actions by stating that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was holding its "two conferences" (the People's Political Consultative Conference and the National People's Congress annual meetings).
Ms. Wen had been persecuted on several occasions prior to her recent arrest. Prior to the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, Ms. Wen was arrested by Ding Shuai and Pu Yonglai, led by the village officer Wen Yongfu, and sent to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp. While imprisoned she developed diabetes and high blood pressure (measuring 240). The labor camp and brainwashing center were afraid of holding her in such a condition so she was sent home after two months.
After her latest arrest, Ms. Wen's family didn't know where she was taken. Her husband called the Domestic Security Division but the officer who answered the phone said he knew nothing of her whereabouts because he was not involved. Her husband and daughter went to the police department but were not allowed in. Her family tried every possible way to determine Ms. Wen's whereabouts and finally found out that she had been sent to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City on March 4, 2010.
On April 6, 2010, her family went to the forced labor camp to look for her and it was confirmed that Ms. Wen was indeed detained in the Women's No. 6 Division. The visiting hours were from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., so her family arrived at the prison by 9:00 a.m. to visit her. The guards however, delayed the visiting time using various excuses such as they were in meetings, etc. Her family asked again and again, and by this time the visiting hours were almost over. Wang Yufen, the team captain, came to tell them that Ms. Wen didn't want to meet with her family or talk to them. Her family didn't believe this and asked to call her. Wan Yufen lied to them however, and said, "Falun Gong practitioners don't care about anyone including their own family members."
On May 6, 2010, Ms. Wen's husband went to the forced labor camp to visit her again under the supervision of police officer Wang Yufen. Before her arrest, Ms. Wen was very healthy and weighed over 143 pounds, but after two months of being in the camp she weighed less than 110 pounds. She also had difficulty trying to keep her balance while walking. Her husband asked her what happened and she just said that she had a very bad headache and her chest also hurt. Her husband asked the guards why they didn't take her to see a doctor. The guards answered very savagely, "We checked her and she isn't sick. She is just pretending to be sick." Her husband then said, "If anything goes wrong, you will be responsible." The guards told him to talk to the Domestic Security Division of Qianan City and that they would not answer any more questions.
