(Clearwisdom.net) On April 1, 2010, practitioner Lu Xiuli was arrested again and taken to a psychiatric hospital because she was distributing Falun Dafa informational DVDs near her home. This was the second time she was taken to the psychiatric hospital.
An official of the Chinese Communist Party forced Ms. Lu's husband Xu Zhongzhong to sign the admission form for the psychiatric hospital. They told him that if he refused, they would take Ms. Lu to jail, and put a stop to her pension. Because of the threats, Mr. Xu "voluntarily" signed the paper and took his wife to the psychiatric hospital. The participants in the persecution included agents from the Ganquan Police Station in Putuo District, the Zichang Neighborhood Association, and the neighborhood 610 Office.
Ms. Lu began to practice Falun Gong in 1998. The persecution against her and her family members has never stopped in the past ten plus years. She has been repeatedly taken to forced labor camps, jails, and the psychiatric hospital.
When Ms. Lu was first held in the psychiatric hospital, because she told patients' family members the facts about Falun Gong, she was forcibly injected with unknown substances by doctors. As a result, her face became swollen and her eyesight was impaired. The doctors said: "You'd better behave. We won't give you the shots if you stop talking to people about Falun Gong. Otherwise we will give you drugs right away."
Despite the threat, Ms. Lu continued explaining the facts about Falun Gong, which caused her to continuously be force-fed with unknown drugs and monitored around the clock. She was isolated in a small cell, and forbidden to call her family members, and her family members were not informed of her situation. When she was discharged, she was forced to write a pledge not to practice Falun Gong as a condition for her discharge. A group of other practitioners were also held in the psychiatric hospital and persecuted cruelly.
Agents at the police station, neighborhood association, and 610 Office, as well as the staff and the director of the psychiatric hospital, all knew very well that Ms. Lu did not have any psychological disorders. Everyone who came in contact with her knew this too. Ms. Lu has only an elementary school education and is simple, pure, and honest. Even agents of the 610 Office conceded that she was a good person.
Ms. Lu does not have good communication skills, but she has a pure and honest heart. Evil people took advantage of her purity and claimed that they wanted to learn more about the third eye mentioned in Zhuan Falun, and deceived her into telling them that she had seen foxes and snakes biting her when she was in the forced labor camp. Actually, Ms. Lu was only trying to explain to them that the third eye talked about in Zhuan Falun was real. She was not trying to glamorize what she said. She told them that while not everyone can see scenes in other dimensions after practicing Falun Gong, she was someone whose third eye was open and could see. Afterwards, those people often used the recordings of what she said to claim that she had delusions, and forcibly issued a diagnostic paper categorizing her as psychologically disordered. Ms. Lu was not aware that the signature and thumb print she was forced to provide were for the diagnostic paper.
In 2002, she was arrested and taken to a forced labor camp after being reported for distributing truth-clarification materials on the streets, which prevented her from attending her daughter's wedding.
In 2009, she was again taken to the psychiatric hospital because she distributed more informational materials about Falun Dafa. As a result, she was unable to take care of her daughter when she delivered her baby. She was also unable to see her father before he died in May.
