County Council Member Li Ching-sheng said, "This event is a reminder of the persecution of Falun Gong in China over the past eleven years. More than 3000 Falun Gong practitioners have died in the persecution. We believe that the sacrifice is temporary and truth exists forever. More practitioners and more humanitarian groups will support the effort to stop the persecution. We are a part of a global village. Many members of the village express their support and this power will overcome the persecution."

County Council Member Li Shi-bin said, "Falun Gong is being persecuted by the CCP. I think that the CCP regime does not uphold justice. When I was overseas, I also saw the concern of foreigners. Everyone is concerned about the persecution of Falun Gong. I hope everyone works together to stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong as early as possible."
