(Clearwisdom.net) On July 18, 2010, some Hungary Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese Consulate in Budapest to protest the persecution of Falun Gong. Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution on July 20, 1999, practitioners have maintained a steady presence in front of the consulate.

The practitioners placed banners and display boards on the sidewalk in front of the Chinese Consulate. Many people came by and inquired about the persecution, and accepted flyers from the practitioners.
The practitioners then went to Margaret Island, a well-known tourist attraction in Budapest. There they exposed the persecution and talked to people about Falun Gong. Many tourists, after talking with the practitioners, signed their names on a petition calling for an end to the persecution.
One overseas Chinese student talked at length with practitioners about Falun Gong, relating a story of a family friend who is a practitioner. He also learned more about the organ harvesting and agreed with the practitioners that one's belief is inviolable. After a long discussion, he decided to quit the CCP.
